Elizabeth Williams' POV

I burst open the door to Room 608. There, standing by the window, was Nick. He looked as good as new, like the doctor had said, but I had to make sure for myself. The rest of the guys must have already said their 'hello's' and decided to get some food or something.

"Nick." I breathed in relief, my eyes brimmed with fresh tears.

He spun around quickly, those warm brown eyes that I've missed so much, lighting up with an unknown emotion as I ran over to him. I threw my arms around his neck, clinging to his soft yet muscular chest as his strong arms wrapped tightly around my waist, pulling me close.

"Liz." He sighed after breathing in a long whiff of my scent, squeezing me tighter. Slowly, yet reluctantly, I pulled away from his warm embrace.

Then, I whacked him hard on his good arm. "Ow! What was that for?" He yelled out in disbelief.

"For scaring me to death by going into a coma! Do you know how worried I've been, sitting here, waiting for you to wake up? I even talked to you-" A thought crossed my mind that made me stop my rant. "You, uh, didn't hear me by chance did you?" I asked hesitantly.

"You mean the part about my dreamy eyes or my comforting hugs that you love so much?" He batted his eyelashes at me playful, a grin stretching across his face. I felt relief wash through me. He hadn't heard me say I love him.

I playfully glared at him. "I said nothing about your eyes being dreamy! I said sparkly!" I stated teasingly.

"Really? Do they sparkle that much?" He gasped, playing along with my little act. "Damn, I was trying to keep the sparkliness to a minimum." He says, looking at his eyes in the mirror.

We're both quiet for a minute before we look at each and burst out laughing. Man, it's good to have him back. I missed him so much.

"I'm happy to be back. And I really missed you too, Lizzie." He whispers into my hair after pulling me in for another hug, which I responded to immediately.

Did I just say that out loud?

No. But I heard it. He chuckled lightly, making his chest rumble against my head.

"Well, that's embarrassing. Wait," I pulled back enough to see his face. "Did you just call me Lizzie?"

"Yep, and I don't care if you don't like it. That's what I'm calling you from now on." Nick nodded his head as if to confirm his statement.

"I wasn't about to protest." I sighed, snuggling back into his chest. "As long as you're the only one who calls me it." I muttered more to myself than to him.

"Fine by me, Lizzie. Fine by me." He agreed. I rolled my eyes, of course he heard me.

Just when I mustarded up the courage to tell him how I felt, the door suddenly burst open followed by a loud "GUYS!" The voice sounded panicked, and I automatically turned around to see who it was, Nick's arms still wrapped around my waist.

Michael and Drake ran in and looked around frantically before Michael dived behind the side of the bed furthest from the door. Drake saw this and dived down too... right on top of Michael.

"Get off of me!" He hissed at Drake while Nick and I chuckled at the amusing scene in front of us.

"Uh, what are you guys doing? Where's Drew?" Nick asked.

"We're hiding from him." Drake gulped.

"Why-" The words left my mouth as a very, very angry and pissed off Drew stormed into the room. Now, I would've taken this seriously if he hadn't had a mustache and beard sharpied onto his face, his teeth were died blue, and his was drenched in hot pink paint. I burst out laughing so hard I probably would've fell to the floor if it hadn't of been for Nick's arms. It didn't help that he was laughing just as hard as I was.
