* Sam’s POV *

My alarm sounded at 6:30am. It wasn’t hard to get up again but I can feel my eyes were a bit weird like puff weird. I was crying the whole night thinking about Jai and how he will never know I exist, even as his stupid second.

But even though I wasn’t in a good mood like yesterday, I was determined to go to school early. I need to talk to Andi whether she likes it or not. I’m not giving up now. I want to know so I can tell Jai. I want Jai to be happy. I feel like I was backstabbing Andi, but Jai is important to me. I like him and I want him to be happy.

I readied myself and then went down. I didn’t even eat breakfast with my family. I was in a hurry even if it was too early. I wanna get to school fast so when she comes in, I can talk to her.

As expected, Kaity and Nathan were already there. The other guys came and by 7:30am, Dylan and Andi came. Andi went inside the school to get something from her locker. I followed her and asked if we could talk.

“Hey Andi, can we talk?” I asked. She didn’t stop she went outside the school at the park area and sat down.

“What do you want?”

“It’s about last night…” I said but she interrupted me.

“What about last night?” I was silent for a bit.

“Well…” She asked. “Are you gonna talk or what?”

She sounds irritable now. “Okay, what happened between you and Jai?”

“You’re still not gonna leave it? I told you, it’s none of your business.” She yelled.

“I know it’s none of my business, but Jai is important to me and I want him to be happy.”

Andi got more pissed off. “Then make him happy if he’s too important for you.”

“How can I do that if you’re not cooperating with me?”

“Why do you need me to make him happy? He doesn’t even need me anymore now that you’re here!” Andi exclaimed.

I was shocked. What does she mean? “What do you mean? Jai needs you.”

“I don’t think so.”

“Cause you’re too blinded by Luke!” I cried out.

“Stop bringing Luke into this! Why do you even need to drag him in this?” Andi asked. She’s getting mad now. I was upset too. I never had a row with Andi and now we’re here standing like we weren’t friends anymore. We were yelling and didn’t care if people started to watch us.

“You know what? I’m fed up of some people getting involved in people’s relationships.” Andi exclaimed. She was directing it to me.

“And I’m fed up by you. I don’t even know what I did. Since Monday’s dinner you have been so distant!” I yelled back, attracting more students.

“Then why do you even bother messing up with my own relationships?” Andi asked.

“Because I like Jai! If he’s not important to you anymore, then he is to me and I want him to be happy! You don’t know how much I’m hurt when you’re upset with him. He gets more upset and I hate that.” I cried.

“He doesn’t have to be upset anymore because you’re there.” She replied nonchalantly.

“What do you mean I’m here? I don’t get you!”

“Oh Sam, don’t act out on me playing dumb. You know what I mean. I don’t need to spell it out for you.” I was pissed. I was here helping her out with Jai and this is what I get in return.
