Chapter 15- The Archery Stand

Principal Cinch walked over to where Celestia, Luna, and Cadence were and sat in the empty seat next to Dean Cadence. Once she was seated, Cadence adjusted a mic on a stand and spoke through it.

"Welcome, everyone to the Friendship Games tri-cross relay!" Cadence announced.

All of the students cheered.

"In this event," Cadence continued, "our qualifying competitors will face off in archery, speed-skating, and finally, motocross. So if the competitors are ready—" Cadence then blew a loud horn, signaling for the event to begin.

Sour Sweet and Fluttershy ran towards the archery stand, as they had to run past a few obstacles before they could begin trying to hit a bullseye.

"Each competitor must hit a bullseye before their teammates can start the next leg of the relay," Cadence explained as Sour Sweet and Fluttershy kept running.

Sour Sweet easily got passed the obstacles and hit the bullseye on the first try. It was now Twilight's turn to try and do the same.

While Fluttershy tried to hit the target, Twilight ran towards the archery stand. However, she was having a bit of trouble. She accidentally tripped over one of the barrels of hay she was supposed to jump over. This annoyed Sour Sweet, who then turned her attention to Fluttershy, who was still trying to hit the target.

Twilight got herself up and continued to move. She came across another problem when she had some trouble swinging over a pit of mud. This made Sour Sweet even more annoyed, and she didn't try to hide hit.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy had finally managed to hit a bullseye, meaning it was now Applejack's turn to try and do the same. She quickly dogged all the obstacles and began trying to hit the target. She shot an arrow but she unfortunately missed. Fluttershy still gave her a tiny applause for trying.
