The Forbidden Room

Sydney

As soon as I found a long enough stick I ran back to Isaac and Jacob. But when I got there they were all gone along with the horses.
"Isaac, Aubrey, someone." I yelled but no one answered.
Were did everyone go. Were they all playing some mean trick. I noticed a small piece of clothing on the ground. I picked it up and examined it. This was Isaac's. I continued walking down the trail I was on a little farther and found another piece of his clothing. Was he leaving me a trail? I continued on a little farther and there was another piece of clothing.
I continued like that for about ten minutes.
This is taking to long. I said to myself. I wish there was some way to go faster. Oh course, my super speed. I was a little nervous I hadn't used my super speed yet. I just started running and I hardly realized that I was going extremely fast. Now instead of picking up each piece of cloth that Isaac left I just looked at it so I could cover more ground quicker.
Before I knew it I was at the edge of the forest line and in front of me was a giant castle. The castle of Gesh. They weren't taken by the soldiers of Gesh were they? The trail of cloth lead right to the castle though.
I didn't want to go in there. If anyone caught me they weren't going to say hello and let me continue on my way.
I took a deep breathe, steadied my breathing, and walked into the castle.
Right away there were guards. I ducked behind a giant plant so I wouldn't be seen. There was too many guards. I'd never find everyone with all these guards.
I looked around for the next piece of cloth. And noticed a few of them it in a pile of dirt. Someone had swept them up and now I have no idea were to find everyone.
Think Syd think. If I was Aubrey then I could turn invisible and then poof problem solved. Unfortunately I wasn't Aubrey so I couldn't.
I wonder if it would work to wish to be invisible.
In barely a whisper I said "I wish I was invisible." realizing that might make me invisible forever I quickly added "For the next hour."
I looked at my fingers and slowly they disappeared. I waited until I was completely invisible before coming out from behind the plant.
Ryan, were are you. I kept thinking.
"Syd" I heard someone say
"What?" I instinctively said. Then covered my mouth realizing I had just said something out loud. Thankfully I don't think anyone heard.
"Sydney" I heard it again. It was Ryan.
Ryan? I thought
Syd can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
Yah, this is so weird.
Your telling me.
How can you hear me?
I don't-. I paused. I bet it's because were bonded.
Weird
Hey were are you? I'm in the Gesh castle. I have no idea were I'm supposed to go now.
Were in the dungeon. Well actually we were in the dungeon holding room and then we escaped so now we are on our way out of here. So start heading towards the dungeon.
Okay, and Ryan.
Hey
Get out of my head.
At first I was I little panicked because I couldn't find out how to get to the dungeon and then I found a big sign that said "Dungeon this way" so then it was all okay.
Syd
What?
Guards found us, help.
I'm coming.
I found everyone and sure enough they were surrounded by guards and there arms bound in ropes.
What do I do? I won't be able to fight them all of even with the element of surprise in being invisible. Then an idea popped into my head.
"Men" I said.
The men look around for were the voice came from but since I'm invisible they didn't know we're it came from.
"I am the goddess Lindra." I knew that Lindra was an ancient goddess that they believed in.
The men fell to their knees looking up as if they might see her.
"I have other ideas for the prisoners leave them here and I will take care of them. Now go."
The men ran out of the room terrified.
I couldn't help but smile.
"Hey guys it's me Syd. I'm just invisible right now and I will be for another half an hour. So we need to get out of here now." I quickly untied everyone's wrists.
We made it out of the castle safe.
"Our horses. They have all our supplies on them."
"Your right we need to find them." Isaac said
"Maybe they have a stable or barn somewhere around the castle. Let's circle around it and see." Courtney suggested
We started going around the castle and in now time we had found the barn and our horses which still had all of our stuff on them.
I put my hand up to pet the horse. It was reappearing. Within a few minutes I was completely see able again. It was nice to have people see you again.
"Come on we should go."
I got on my horse and we were off again. After we were back on our way I decided to grab the dagger which was in my bag and put it behind the waist line of my pants and put my shirt back over it to cover it up. If this happened again I would want to be prepared.
That night when we all sat down around the fire Jacob explained what we would encounter tomorrow
"We shouldn't have anymore problems with Gesh soldiers. Tomorrow we will go threw a large town called Baltice. But this is an unusual place many people have passed through here but no one has ever come back out of the town. We don't know what goes on in there because whoever goes on never comes back to tell."
"Well what do we do?"
"Can we just go around the town."
"We could but Baltice is huge it could take us a week to go around the whole thing."
"So do we just take the risk?"
"I think we should go through the town."
"Well let's take a vote. Anyone who wants to go through the the town raise your hand."
Everyone raised there hand.
"That was easy."
