I walked out of the house distraught. I knew that Isaac would never betray us but I couldn't help but wonder.
A gun shot went off and I heard it whistle past me. In front of me was one of the snkigs guards. Absorbed in my thoughts I had forgotten about the guards. I quickly turned invisible and then pulled out my bow and strung an arrow. I let it fly and the guard went down.
More guards were showing up now. I ran since they couldn't see me anyway. Looking behind me I could see there confused faces. I smiled to myself. I super sped back to were we had agreed to meet.
Isaac looked delighted to see me but I avoided his glance not ready to talk after what happened. I was glad when Jacob instead of Isaac asked what happened.
"Someone took it." I looked straight at Isaac anger running up me but I pushed it down suddenly mad at myself for thinking so low of Isaac when he had done do much got me. "There was an old house were a elderly women was guarding the sword she told me someone took it already and they I was too late."
"Did she say who took it."
"No." I lied
"What do we do now?"
"I'm not sure." I wanted to talk to Isaac about what the old women had said about him. "Isaac can I talk to you."
He nodded obviously not getting that I wanted to talk alone.
"Alone?"
"Oh, sure. We can go for a little walk."
I waited until we were out of ear shot before starting. "I lied when I said the old women didn't tell me who took it. She did."
"Why wouldn't you tell us that?"
"Because she said-" I didn't want to finish the sentence. "She said you did it."
He seemed shocked. "You don't believe her do you?"
"Of course not. I just thought you should know privately."
"Thank you."
I nodded not sure that I had done the right thing.
"Sydney?" It was my mother
"Mom I'm a little busy."
"I'll only be a minute of your time."
"What do you need?"
"I'm wondering something. Have you ever see the lost sword?"
"No, but I didn't think it mattered."
"I can send you pictures through my mind, here." A image of a sword appeared in my head. It had a bejeweled handle and somehow without feeling it I could tell that the sword was perfectly balanced and without a single flaw. Suddenly I realized something. I had seen in before. In Isaac's sword sheath.I know of this chapter is kind of a short one but I didn't want to keep it in the last chapter and it made more sense if it was Sydney talking not Ryan. Hope you enjoy don't forget to comment!!!!
