"A GIRL PASSING OUT HERE! SOMEONE HELP HER, PLEASE!" I yelled as I opened the hospital door as careful as ever so I wouldn't hit her head on something on my way.

A nurse came running to me, looking at her with a worried look. "Oh, you poor little thing. DOCTOR ANDERSON WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY!"

"Mary, what seems to be the problem? OH, MY! This isn't pleasant to look at. I will take care of her from now on.", said the doctor while my hands slowly put the girl into his hands. I sat in the waiting room and buried my head between my hands.

I was worried for her. I didn't even know her and I still wanted her not to suffer the consequences of love. I mean, why is she with that guy? She deserves better. I bet he won't even pay her a visit.

"Young man, you should wake up."

The dreams were interrupted by the doctor who took care of her before.

"Is she okay?"

"She's fine but she needs to stay in the hospital for a few days so we can have a close watch on her. I'm glad you brought her here. You're a really caring boyfriend."

"Oh no, I'm not her boyfriend. I saw her get hit by her man, so I instantly drove her here. I'm Jason by the way. Thanks for taking care of her so quick." I shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Jason. I'm doctor Anderson but you may call me Davis. Oh wow, I bet it wasn't the first time either. Those cases are familiar with me. We gave her some pills so she can rest and tell us what happened tomorrow. You should go to sleep too, Jason. It's almost 11 o'clock."

"Oh gosh, I was asleep for almost three hours. 20 missed calls from mom! I should really get going. Thank you for everything, doc. I'll visit her tomorrow if that's okay."

"Good night, Jason. Take care."

I'm walking towards my house now. I called mom and explained the whole thing. She called the cops in the time I was away. Overprotective as always, but she's still great. She was really relieved hearing my voice. As I explained the whole story, I heard her crying. She said she's proud that I stood up for a stranger.

I'm smiling. It feels nice to know you did a good job. The girl could get more punches or even kicks. Her boyfriend was really angry and I don't know if he would stop to see what he did before she would end up dead.

My roommate was already sleeping so I took a shower and now I'm trying to not to think about Lorelay and this new girl.
