The nurse in the hospital showed me the way to her room.

As I walked in, she was sleeping peacefully. I quietly sat on a stool beside her bed. I didn't even notice when the doctor came in.

"Wakey, wakey, sleepyhead.", doctor Anderson shook her bed a little.

"Where am I?"

"You're in the hospital. We could say that this boy saved your life. His name is Jason. And I'm Davis, your doctor. I just came to check up on you, because the breakfast will be brought to your bed in half an hour. You could get dressed in the meantime if Jason doesn't mind."

"No, no, I don't mind at all. As the doctor already said, I'm Jason but I didn't quite save your life."

She looked at me with her dark brown eyes and left out a shy, sleepy voice: "Jason. I'm Jaclyn, thank you for whatever you did. It's just that I don't really remember anything. I just know that Saden and I've been in a fight. And that's literally my last memory."

"That's normal, Jaclyn. We gave you some medicine so you could sleep. You were shaking as I was carrying you to the emergency room.", said Davis.

"Oh.", Jaclyn's smile faded. "I guess it was because of my anxiety disorder."

"It's okay, Jaclyn. You're safe here. Now I'm going to leave so Jason can explain what happened.", he smiled at me. "Nice to see you again. Take good care of her."

"Will do, doc. Thank you."

He exited the room and we ended up alone in awkward silence. I'm mostly really communicative but what can I say to someone I don't even know?

But then she started talking about everything and nothing all at once. She almost forgot to get dressed too. And I saw her in her dark clothes that looked a lot like mine. It was a shame, to be honest. She dressed in black but yet again, she had the most colourful mind. She even had a piercing in her mouth, a septum in her nose and a lot of earrings up her pretty ears. She said she also has tattoos but of course I didn't ask her to get undressed. I didn't show her mine either. I think the story about each one needs to be told to the person I know a bit more than one day. But we clicked instantly, it was like looking at another me. She was so smart, but yet again she was facing all of the demons who kept telling her otherwise. I think that's what love is; finding a person whose demons go along with yours. And that was it.

I wanted to be her favourite hello and her hardest goodbye, because that's just the way I knew I'd feel about her in just a few days if not even right now.
