The tent that Ben, Calem and I were assigned to was very spacious. Gina and Ned were in the tent next to us. Coco was with them as well. Adam told us to get all our things and organize our stuff, then meet back at the tech tent in twenty minutes.

"Do you like the tent buddy?" Ben was helping Calem get his clothes and things sorted while I organized our weapons. Adam had given us this trunk which he said we could put our weapons in. Just in case there was an emergency.

"Do you think we'll stay here forever Susan?" This was from Calem, who had finished unpacking. "I don't know little man. Maybe." I replied.

This camp seemed good enough and I couldn't really see any other choice except for going back to the cabin but I didn't want to. There was safety in numbers.

We all stepped out of our tent and went over to the one Ned and Gina were in. I lifted the flap but no one was inside. I told the others that they were probably already at the tech tent and that we should get going.

While we walked I wondered what we would do at the camp once we were all settled down. Adam said there were jobs around the camp that we could help with. Maybe I'd be some sort of security. I would be nice to help protect everyone.

We made it to the tech tent and saw that Gina, Ned, Adam and Joe were waiting for us. "Let's go." Adam pushed past me and led us to a large campfire. People were sitting on logs around the flame and they all looked up when we sat down.

Suddenly, Adam let out a cheer and all the other people copied him. Then Adam got up and stood on one the logs and addressed everyone.

"Today, we've had some new humans join our camp. You all need to make them feel welcome, but first let's get this welcome party started. Hooray!"

I found myself laughing at Adam's last word. Hooray? When was the last time anyone had used that word? All I knew was that it was used for happy occasions. Maybe this was one.

As the sky grew darker, we all ate and talked. A few silly teenagers started dancing and one of them got their shirt caught on fire. We quickly put it out and everyone laughed.

For the first time in ages, I was having fun. Good natured, heart warming fun. It felt awesome.

"Damn, these people know how to have a good time." This came from Ben, who was standing next to me as we watched a guy and a girl compete to see who could finish a bowl of spaghetti the fastest, without using their hands. "I know right." I said.

Ben stared at me with the biggest smile on his face then pulled me into a kiss. "I love you." He whispered as we pulled apart. "I love you too." I said back. Ben was so kind to me and I loved him for it. I really did.

Ben smiled and asked Calem if he was tired. He nodded and we all went to head back to our tent.

Just as we said our good nights to everyone, Joe ran towards us. He was coming from the direction of the tech tent. He had went back there after he had dinner.

He nearly ran into Ben when he came to a stop. "Have you guy's seen Adam anywhere?" There was panic in Joe's eyes so I decided to find out what was up. "Adams over there. Why? What's wrong?"

"It's the cameras." Joe said solemnly. "The cameras have crashed."
