Rysnna’s POV

Louis eventually came back into the living room at about one in the morning and watched some Doctor Who with Zayn and me. You could tell that he was still a bit frustrated, but at least he wasn’t trying to make us talk.

“You know what? This is kind of fun. I feel so free!” Louis exclaimed, jumping off of the couch and running around the room, flapping his arms like a bird as the episode ended. I rolled my eyes and looked over to see Zayn’s reaction, only to find that he was now asleep. Cue evil laugh please.

“Uh oh…I know that look Miss Rysnna…I will help if you were wondering,” Louis said and I smirked before getting up off of the couch.

“So, what are we going to do?” Louis asked excitedly, practically jumping up and down. I rolled my eyes and put my hands on his shoulders. I motioned for him to stay still before running off to my room. I grabbed my bag that was hidden under my bed and grabbed my notebook and a pen before heading back to the living room.

All of the lights were off in the hallway when I stepped out of my room, which scared me a bit. Yes, I’m afraid of the dark and ghosts, though no one knows. I silently walked down the hall and into the living area which was also dark. The worst part was that I don’t know where all of the light switches are. Why did Louis have to do this?

Knowing that I was only seconds away from tripping or running into a wall, I got down on my hands and knees and started to crawl towards the kitchen, hoping that Louis was in there. Wait, if he was trying to scare me, won’t he be in there, waiting to scare me even more? Yeah, that’s a bad idea.

I sighed gently before backing up and trying to find my way to the corner of the living room where no one should be. It was completely dark, so you could imagine how hard it was to get there without running into furniture. I figure that if he can’t find me, he will eventually give up and turn the lights back on.

I finally made it to what felt like the corner of the living room and curled up into a ball in the corner. I had left my phone in my room or on the couch, so I didn’t have any way to light up the room. Everything was quiet, save for Zayn’s breathing. I strained my ears, listening for Lou’s footsteps.

“Rysnna? Where are you? I can’t see anything and I can’t find the light switches. Someone is messing with us,” I heard him whisper from the hallway, which was across the room. Oh, so it wasn’t him, was it?

I couldn’t talk, so I really couldn’t let him know where I was. I patted the ground around me, hoping that there was something I could throw at him to let him know I was here. Wait a second… I still have that pen from earlier. I quickly pulled it out of my pocket and threw it in the direction where I thought Louis was.

“Ow! Okay, I’m coming. I think I know where you are. Tap the wall lightly if you’re near it,” he whispered and I gently knocked on the wall that was behind me. I squinted in the darkness, trying to see if he was coming, but it was pitch black.

“Rys? I’m here. Where are you?” I heard him say quietly a second later. I stuck my leg out to see if he was there and accidentally kicked him in the leg.

“Ow, you really like to hurt me, don’t you?” he asked, sitting down beside me, pulling me into a side hug. I wanted to talk so badly, but I couldn’t lose this contest. I’m going to kill whoever is behind this, which is probably Harry.
