AU - This chapter is at as long as normal, sorry guys, hope you enjoy though.

Jay's POV
I felt my face sore when I woke and the pain down my side was unbearable. I couldn't move I had to just lay here. I heard noises, I hoped that it was the unit, so they could get me out of here, I just wanted to see Erin and go home, today has already been difficult without this adding to the bundle. The door to the room I was locked in burst open and I let out a sigh of relief when I saw Erin at my side, "Jay, Jay, are you okay?" She asked me in a flap. "I fine, did you get them?" I asked in reply. "Yeah, Hank and the unit are cuffing them now, it's who we were looking for, we finally got him. However, You're clearly not fine, c'mon lets get you to med." Erin said before carefully helping me up.

Erin's POV
With Jay leaning against my side we walked to the car. Not a word was said between us. The silence was comfortable, nothing needed to be said. We got to the car and Jay piped up as I plopped him down on the seat causing him some discomfort, "I'm glad I was driving for once, you should let me do it more often." A smirk and a light chuckle escaped from him, I laughed and kissed his cheek, " don't know about you but I don't want a repeat of today, so I think I will stick to driving." I smirked and shut the door.

Jay's POV
we arrived at the hospital and Will was there. He was about to clock of for the night but when he heard I was coming in he decided to stay, he's knows how much I hate hospitals.

Erin's POV
I left Jay with Will over an hour ago now, and by this point Hank had been to check on him but left as he had to finish paperwork on tonight's events. Just as I started to dozen in the chair outside Jays room, I heard the door creek open so I looked up. It was will, "Will, how is he?" " He's doing good, well of what could be expected anyway. He's got bad swelling to the face and two broken ribs and a broken finger, which may need surgery. Apart from that he's doing well, he's supposed to be resting now but he says he's gonna file a complaint of I don't let you in, so you can see him now." Will says with a chuckle. "Thanks Will" I reply before squeezing his shoulder and going into Jays room. I walked in and as soon as I saw Jays face, I couldn't control myself. His face was all swollen and bruised, with cuts above his eyebrow. His finger was strapped up for now, to see if it starts healing. I felt myself welling up but I tried not to cry in front of Jay, he'd already been through enough. "Hey you." I said as I walked towards his bed, "Hi, for a second I thought Will wasn't gonna let you in." He chuckled then stopped due to the pain. I smirked and sat down in the chair next to his bed. He was tired and I knew that from looking at him, "Jay will you sleep already, you need as much rest as you can get." I pleaded, "Okay, but Erin....just don't leave me, you how mu-..." I cut him off "I'm not going anywhere." I said confidently, I know how much he hates hospitals. He smiled and started to relax. I leant over and kissed his cheek gently, so I didn't hurt him, and I sat there, all night.
