Jay has been out of hospital for 2 weeks now, he's been doing well so since its 4 weeks prior to the wedding, Jay and Erin are out trying on the their ordered suit and dress.

Erin's POV
We've been at this for hours, I didn't think it would take this long to try on a dress and have it altered, however with Trudy here, she's not happy if everything isn't going to plan. She's made me a wedding planner like hers, except this one has all my details in it, samples of fabric, colour scheme, mock invites, lists of caterers and live bands, everything you could possibly need for a wedding is in that book, and if things aren't going to plan, the way it says in the book then Trudy was fixing it. The latest fix was that the shoes didn't match the colour of my dress perfectly, Kim and I just rolled our eyes at each other, but I let her change them. But damn was she right, maybe she does have an eye for this kind of thing. The new place champagne colour of shoes she picked out matched my long, elegant, champagne coloured dress. Traditional white wasn't really my thing, to be honest tradition doesn't exactly run in my family.

Jay's POV
Adam, Kev, Toni, Mouse and I had picked up our suits hours ago, Voight and Al were there too but they weren't really up for our wee night out after so the decided to go out themselves, it didn't bother us, would have been a bit awkward in bars, doing god knows what with your boss there. I was meeting the boys at the bar, just so I could pop home and put my suit away. I opened the door to the apartment, and the smell hit me. It smelt of Erin, I swear the smell wasn't this strong last night, but know her perfume, shampoo, just Erin, seemed to be filling my lungs. It wasn't till now I realised how much I had missed her! Kim and Platt took her away over the weekend for a spa break. Friday I stayed at Ruzek's, with Mouse and Kev, so last night was the only night I was in the apartment myself. I can't remember it being this strong last night, must cause I know I will get to see Erin tonight.

Erin's POV
I have been trying on this dress for hours but it finally met Trudy's requirements which meant I was able to take the darn thing off. Don't get me wrong I love the dress but being stuck in it for a good couple of hours whilst your prodded at and pins are jabbed in the dress, it's really not that fun. Now I got to sit back and watch Trudy and Kim try on their dresses. Trudy wasn't really up for it, however when Kim and I quoted her precious book to her, 'bridesmaids have matching dresses' she quickly changed her mind. As I was sitting waiting for them, I could hear Kim talking to me in the background but I was too focuses on texting Jay. I hadn't seen him all weekend and right now I would kill to be with him at home snuggled up on the sofa, watching a movie. "Erin you better not be texting Jay!" Kim said cockily, she knew exactly what I was doing. "I'm just checking the time" replied. We shared a chuckle, I was such a bad liar when it came to talking about Jay and I, I guess I just didn't want to hide it. Eventually Kim and Trudy came out with their dresses on, and they looked absolutely amazing! The deep purple/wine colour, suited them both incredibly well, even Trudy was surprised, "Oh yes! This is the one", Kim and I just laughed, considering Jay wasn't here, it had been a good day.

Jay's POV
It was nearly 8 O'clock when I got a text from Erin, 'heading home now, Chinese for dinner? Xx' I smiled as soon as I read the message, I was finally getting to see my girl, 'sounds good, I will pick it up, see you at home xx'. I left the guys at the bar, so I could head home early. I stopped off at the Chinese on the way, and grabbed Erin's favourite. God I can't wait to see her, feels like it has been ages since we have had a night in together. I finally got to the apartment and I noticed Erin's car was already there. I almost ran up the stairs to see her. I opened the door, "Erin?" I got no response, so I looked around. Maybe they left her car here today and Kim picked her up. Just as I put the food down in the kitchen, I could smell her perfume from behind, she was sneaking up on me, "that is not advisable Miss Lindsay as I have your favourite here" I said, smiling as I knew she was. Still I got no reply, it was as if she was pondering over her options. Then before I knew it, she jumped on my back anyway, "hey stranger" she said, with her hands draping round my neck, "I've missed you Jay." She said then kissed my forehead. "I missed you too" I said as she slid off my back. I turned round to face her, and cupped my hand to her cheek. I kissed her forehead and envelopes her into a hug. With my arm round Erin's shoulder we made our way to the sofa. We sat, ate and laughed, I really am the luckiest man in the world.
