POEM #27: QUESTIONS
Building a journey, stone by stone,
Through purpose and scar, I find my own.
Losses ignite the bridges within,
Seasons of grace, as it has always been. Each breath a beauty, each day a step,
In dawn's approach, there is no more help.
Through heartache, love, and some little plight,
Wisdom will shine, a soaring flight. No questions asked, just full of gratitude
In the aging crack, we rose and stood.
All burdens shared, a simple road,
A quilt of hearts, the brightest load.11/17/24
