Stuck in Between
There's this boy
Who brought her love and joy.
He decided to make her heart fly.
But then he was gone, for so long.
Her love was starting to die..
Then another swept her off her feet.
He gave her poems and melodies that moved with a beat.
This boy couldn't leave her head.
She started thinking of him when she went to bed.
What about the other boy,
the boy who brought her so much joy?
He was still not to be found..
The other man picked her up, turned her around.
He kissed her cheek and told her to never let her crown fall down.
For he hated to see her frown.
He was so sweet. He made her feel warm inside.
These feelings of love she could not hide.
She whispered to herself.. "Why is this so hard?"
Did she have to decide by picking a card?
She was stuck. Between two wonderfully amazing men.
Which one would be the one who wins?
Her heart sank.. She knew her choice.
But she was afraid.
