Surprise!!!!

(Jacob's POV)

As we pulled up to our home I started to get a nostalgic feeling. I couldn't believe how long I was gone. We got out of the car and I noticed that all the lights were off inside the house. We went inside and I turned on a light. Everyone from the offices, including Jess, jumped out and yelled, "welcome home!"
"Thanks everyone." I said back.
"Heys dirt! Lets mes sign yours cast" Barney said.
"Sure thing Barney." I replied back. After Barney signed my cast everyone else was making a line to sign my cast.

(Max's POV)

As everyone was signing Jacob's cast I went to my room and got the surprise I've been planning. When I got back everyone was done. "Hey Jacob, are you ready for another surprise?" I asked.
"Wait there is another surprise?!" Jacob said excitedly.
"Yes, I have planned a vacation for us!"I said.
"Oh my gosh! That's awesome!" Jacob exclaimed.
"We will leave when you get your cast off so you don't have to worry about the limited movement." I said. Jacob had a huge smile on his face the rest of the night and he seemed really happy to be back. It soon began to get very late and everyone left. Ross, Jacob, and I were cleaning up when Jacob asked me, "you never told me where we were going."
"You will have to wait for that" I said trying to sound mysterious.
"Aww come on." Jacob whined.
"Not even I know where we are going." Ross said
"How many are coming along?" Jacob asked.
"Most of the people from the offices." I replied.
"Define 'most' " Jacob said sarcastically.
"Ross, Adam, Barney, Red, Nick, Alesa, and myself." I said.
"Ok cool." Jacob said
"I know for sure that you will love this trip." I told him.

(A few days later)
(Jacob's POV)

I've been visiting North every day now and we have been getting real close as friends. North's burns have healed and her cast on her leg is almost ready to come off, we get our casts off on the same day. "Oh yeah I forgot to ask you something." I told North.
"What is it?" North asked.
"what happened to you before the house you were in burned down?" I asked.
"I was actually kidnapped when I was 13. The man that kidnapped me had me locked in a room and never let me outside. When the house caught fire he just fled and left me." North said.
"That is awful!" I said
"It wasn't too bad, I now know you. If I never got taken and if the house never caught on fire I wouldn't have met you." North explained. I smiled and North held out her arms for a hug. I hugged her reluctantly, not wanting to hurt her because of her burns, even though her burns were healed the skin was still very sensitive. "You should meet my adoption father." I said.
"Ok!" North said excitedly. I got my phone out and started to text Max.
J: hey Max can you come to the hospital?
M: ready to come home?
J: no I want you to meet North.
M: ok sure on my way.
I put my phone away and turned to North. "My adoption father said he will come." I told North.
"Awesome!" North exclaimed.

* hey sorry for the short chapter like I said before, I have been really busy and it's getting a little hard to write chapters so I may not upload for some time but don't worry this story is far from over with.
