A special visit

(Max's POV)

I pulled up to the hospital and went inside. The receptionist asked who I was going to see. I told the receptionist North and she told me what room she was in. I began to walk towards the room.

(Jacob's POV)

I was having a conversation with North when I turned and saw Max at the doorway. I smiled got up and hugged him. "North this is my adoption father Max, Max this is North." I introduced them. I looked over at North and she had a perplexed look on her face as if she knew who Max was but she couldn't put face with a name. "Do you at all know Skydoesminecraft?" Max asked.
"Y-yeah? Why?" North replied still very confused.
"Well I work for him and you may know me under the other name Mithzan." Max said. It was almost in an instant when Max said that North's face had lit up and she nearly squealed. I smiled had her excitement. "W-wait! Do you know Aphmau!?" North asked me.
"Jess? Yeah I know her, she comes to the offices sometimes." I replied.
"Oh my gosh! She is my FAVORITE!" North exclaimed. I laughed and soon realized that North was alone here and I thought to myself does she have any family?. North noticed that my demeanor had changed so she asked what was bothering me.
"Huh? Oh, I was just thinking of you had any family" I mumbled.
"No I don't, or I don't think I do." North said. As she said that I took out my phone and texted Jess.
(J-Jacob & A-Jess)
J- hey Jess do you have a minute?
A- sure what's up Jacob?
J- there is a girl in the hospital with no family, or she does but doesn't know. And I was wondering if you would adopt her.
A- why me and not anyone else?
J- she is a HUGE fan of you.
A- oh ok I'm on my way.
I put my phone away and North asked, "who did you text?"
"Ross, he said that he would be at IHOP if we needed him." I lied.
"Oh ok." North replied.

(Timeskip to when Jess arrived)
(Max's POV)

I told Jacob and North I would be outside for a bit because I needed to call Adam for something. As I walked out I saw Jess talking with the receptionist so I walked over to her and asked why she was here.
"Jacob asked me to come." Jess said.
"Ok he is in there." I said pointing to North's room.
"Thanks Max!" Jess said cheerfully as she walked into the room.
I walked away thinking, what is Jacob planning?

(Jacob's POV)

I was talking with North when I heard a knock at the door. I saw North's face get super excited so I looked and saw Jess. "Thank you for coming Jess." I said
"Of course, any time" Jess said cheerfully. North began to breathe normally again and caught her breath to say, "d-did you h-have A-Aphmau come here!?"
"Yes i did." I said confidently
"THANK YOU!!!" North exclaimed.
"Your welcome," I said, "well I should let you two talk alone just for a little bit" and as I was walking out to go find Max I heard Jess say, "do you have any family?" When I found Max he immediately asked me, "why is Jess here?"
"Oh I told her that she should adopt North." I said.
