The walk

(Jacob's POV)

North and I started to walk around our hotel. There were many things to offer such as a buffet( most likely for breakfast), a pool, a big gift shop, and a direct walk to the beach. After we walked around the hotel a while we decided to go to the beach. I was wearing sandals so I took them off to walk on the sand and the sand was very warm. We ended up sitting on the shore and talked for a while. "Are you planning on being in any of Jess's videos in the future?" I asked.
"Yeah probably." North responded.
"That's good. I've been in plenty of Adams videos with Max mostly, I'm rarely without Max in Adams videos." I said.
"Why is that?" North asked.
"To be honest... I have no idea." I replied. We both started laughing and we stopped when we both looked at the sunset. The sun was setting right before our eyes. I started to take out my phone to take a picture and thankfully I got one in time before the sun set. *picture above*
"Awesome!" I said as I looked at the photo. I put my phone away and turned to look at North and said, "What did you think of the sunse-" I was cut off by North's lips pushing against mine and we were kissing. She pulled away from me, her cheeks were a bright red and I was able to guess that mine were too because my face felt hot.
"That never happened!" North exclaimed. I just looked at her shocked. "Did you hear me? Don't speak of that." North said again.
"Uhh ok." I said confused. It was a little past 5. The rest of the time on the beach was silent and awkward. I suggested that we go back to our rooms because the others might be awake now. We got to our rooms and went inside without saying goodbye. I laid down on my bed and thought to myself, this vacation just got complicated a little bit. Max walked out of the bathroom and said, "Oh hey. When did you get back?"
"Huh? oh just now." I said not looking at him.
"How was your walk with North?" Max asked.
"Umm... Good I guess." I replied bluntly. Max looked at me with a expression that basically said "Drama! Do tell!". "Ok fine! But you can not tell ANYBODY especially North about this conversation. Ok?" I said.
"My lips are sealed." Max said.
"Ok well North and I... Kissed." I said.
"Really?" Max said curiously.
"Yes really, but after the kiss she immediately said 'That never happened'." I said.
"Well that does complicate things a bit. Oh and we all are going to dinner so get ready." Max said.
"Ok" I said as I started to get ready. I hope things are not super tense and awkward at dinner or the rest of the vacation., I thought to myself.
