(Jacob's POV)
Run. That is all I can think of. Run as fast as I can to get help and not get caught.
(A few months earlier)
(Still Jacob's POV)
Life with Max has become routine and fun because after Adam saw the video I had edited he gave me a job as an editor. I appeared in many of Adam's videos as well and had a blast in every one of them. One week after I got the job Max had bought me an iPhone with everyones' numbers from the offices already input. I looked for Max's contact and found it, it had just said 'Max' but I changed it to 'Max (dad)'. Max doesn't know that I changed it but I will tell him about it sooner or later.
One day at the offices I had asked Max, "can I walk over to Gamestop to look at some systems and games that I could buy?"
"Sure, just be back in an hour." Max replied
"Thanks!" I said as I bolted out.
(Timeskip to the mall)
(Still Jacob's POV)
The entire walk to the mall I have been getting that feeling like someone was following me, it felt strange and a little bit worrying at the same time. Trying to forget about it I went inside Gamestop and looked at the games, there wasn't anything that peaked my interest so I left. As I walked out and was returning to the offices I passed by an alley where I had heard someone cry out, "help!"
"Hold on I'm coming" I yelled back walking into the alley slowly because I didn't know what happened. As I was walking deeper into the alley I found a woman on the ground holding her ankle. "What's wrong!?" I said
"M-my ankle, I think I sprained it." The woman replied.
"Here let me help you up." I said. As I went behind her to help her up a little bit better I was hit in the back of my head by something and everything went black.
(One hour later)
(Max's POV)
Where the hell is he! Jacob has been gone for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I walked into Adam's office and said, "I'll be back in a few, I'm going to look for Jacob."
"Do you need help?" Adam asked.
"No I'm going to use Find My iPhone" I replied.
"Ok, good luck." Adam replied
I followed the map to where Jacob was located on the app to find an alley that Jacob was supposed to be in. I followed the alley to a dead end. Confused, and a little worried I clicked on the button to make Jacob's phone make a sound to possibly hear it go off. After I clicked the button I heard a chime to my left, I turned to see his phone on the ground with the screen cracked.
