ALEX'S POV

I woke up with some blonde laying next to me and the thoughts of last night rammed through my brain. Although last night was fun, my plan to get over Liz didn't help, as I sat there starring at the girl next to me I couldn't help but think of Liz.

I walked downstairs quietly in my boxer briefs and made some coffee.

"I'm going to leave." I looked up to see the girl who was previously undressed standing by the front door, now fully clothed.

"You don't have too." I lied, hoping she wouldn't stay. She was honestly nothing more than a rebound, one night stand. I just slept with her too keep my thoughts of Liz away. Although it didn't work.

"No, I have to get going. Thanks for the good time." she awkwardly smiled and hurried out the door before I could even say goodbye.

I grabbed my coffee and sighed, walking upstairs to get dressed.

JACK'S POV

My eyes fluttered open and I sighed, pulling myself out of bed, throwing on jeans and shirt. I decided I'd head over too Alex's to see if he had heard anything from Liz.

The quick 10 minute drive was longer than usually as I worried about Liz. Was she hurt? Did she sleep with Josh? Would Josh be rude to her? Of course he wouldn't Jack, he's a nice guy.

I pulled up in front of Alex's and walked over to the door, letting myself in.

"Lex, you here?" I called out.

"Yeah, be down in a minute!" he yelled from upstairs. I placed myself on his couch and flicked on the TV, making myself at home.

"Hey dude." he smiled.

"Hey, have you heard from Liz?" I asked, trying to hide the worry in my voice.

"No, I can call her?" he sat down beside me and pulled out his phone.

ELIZABETH'S POV

I felt my phone go off as I sat with Josh on the front couch on his lap.

"Hello?" I smiled happily.

"Hey, It's Lex. Where are you?" I heard Alex's voice boom through the phone.

"I'm with a friend." I giggled as Josh started kissing my shoulder and neck.

"Let me talk to her." I heard Jack's voice and then the phone being handed over.

"Hey Jacky." I smiled.

"Hey Liz. Where are you? I thought we were going to see my parents today."

I bit my lip and sat up from Josh. He scrunched his eyebrow's, and mouthed 'What's wrong?' but I shrugged it off.

"I'll be over in 10 minutes." Josh pouted at me like he didn't want me to leave. "Can I bring a friend?" I bit my lip and Josh's smile grew.

"I mean, I guess my parents won't mind." he said, a little bit of doubt in his voice.

"Alright, see you in a few Jacky." I smiled and hung up and turned back to Josh.

He knew Jack, and I was kind of excited about showing up with Josh. They were friends so I knew it'd be funny to see the look on his face. Josh knew about it all and how I was nervous to go to see his parents because of everything. I trusted Josh after we sat talking for three hours this morning in the front lounge of his bus.

"We should get going. I have to stop by Jack's house and make myself look good and you can come. If you want of course." I smiled at him.

"I'd love too, and you look fine how you are now." his accent sent shivers down my spine.

"I'm literally in your shirt and panties. I can't go over there like that." I chuckled.

"I think you look hot." he pulled me back in his lap and kissed me quickly.

It felt nice to be with someone like this. I knew we weren't dating but it still felt good.

JACK'S POV

I sat back at my apartment with Alex waiting for Liz. She said she was bringing a friend and Alex and I were both wondering who it was.

"I can't believe you dragged me out of the house so early." he whined.

"Oh shut up, you love seeing my parents." I chuckled.

Just then we heard the door open, "I'm back!" yelled Liz.

She walked into the living room holding hands with a very familiar man.

ALEX'S POV

"Josh?" I was in shock. Liz had spent the night with Josh? They were holding hands? Were they a thing?

"Hey Alex, hey Jack." he smiled at us.

Liz smiled deviously, "I'm going to go get ready, you can stay with them, or come with me. It doesn't matter." Liz said sweetly.

"I'll catch up with the guys. If that's alright?" he smiled.

"Of course." she let go of his hand and hurried upstairs to get ready.

"How do you know Liz?" I asked, the shock clear in my voice. Jack just stood there unhappy and I knew why.

He had told us all hands off but he never thought she'd spend the night with some other band guy. I could tell Jack was upset, but he wouldn't show it.

"Let's just say she showed me a good birthday." Josh winked and sat down on the couch by us. I felt like I was going to be sick but that's when I realized. I wanted to hit him.

I was jealous, and you don't get jealous unless you like someone.
