ELIZABETH'S POV
"Liz wake the fuck up!" I jerked my eyes open and saw Jack jumping on the bed.
"What the fuck, Jack?"
"Hey don't use that language around my nephew!" he scolded.
"Jack, you just-"
"Shhhh. Get dressed, you need to go to Alex's." he pulled the covers off me and I groaned.
After 30 minutes I had styled my hair, got dressed, and slipped on my vans. The drive too Alex's was quiet- mainly because I wouldn't I talk.
Jack pulled up and smiled, "Have fun!"
"Wait, your not gonna stay? What if he kicks me out and I don't have a ride?" I started worrying and Jack just groaned.
"He's not kicking you out, just go!"
I did as he said and slowly walked up to the door. He drove off as soon as I knocked and I felt my throat tighten up a little.
What if Alex was going to yell at me? Scream? Kick me out? This was going to be a horrible mess and I didn't even have a ride home.
The door opened and I looked at the ground, the first thing I saw were boots. My eyes trailed up to see normal jeans with patch work on them and then a torso with a grey shirt and a black jacket.
Next I saw lips- lips I had kissed before- lips I wanted to kiss again. Then I saw his brown eyes. He was smiling, and his eyes looked happy, but I couldn't utter a word.
"Come in, please." he said happily as he grabbed my hand and pulled me inside.
There was something different about his house. I didn't know what but there was something different. It felt less homie.
It smelt like food was cooking- pasta? I think it was some sort of pasta. It smelt good. He smiled happily and pulled me into the living room to sit down.
I fiddled with my now free hands and glanced around, "I guess you have plans? I'm sorry if Jack just brought me-"
He shook his head, "No, I don't. Well sort of. But it's nothing like that." He still had that cute little smile on his face.
"Oh. Well, I guess we should talk." I started chipping the navy blue paint of my nails.
"Why didn't you try and talk to me before? You seem so happy now?" I finally spoke up.
"I know, I had stuff to work out." he smiled happily again.
"Why are you so smiley?" I finally asked.
"Well I was thinking. After we eat, can I take you somewhere?"
I shrugged, "I guess. But we really need to talk."
"It will all make sense then." he smiled.
1 hour later, after very good food and little conversation, Alex pulled up in front of a house. "Why are we here?"
"Well," he grabbed my hands as we walked up in front of the door. He pulled out a key from his pocket and opened the door.
He quietly pulled me through the house and I have to say, it was gorgeous. Four rooms, a huge living room, and a kitchen and dinning room that took my breath away.
"Why are we here?" I asked again.
Alex turned around in the living room and grabbed my hands, "Do you like the house?" he smiled again.
"Yes. It's beautiful but why would-"
"Good, because I was wondering if you, and our baby wanted too live in it with me?" his voice was quieter and I could tell he was nervous.
