ELIZABETH'S POV
I pried my eyes open as I felt something wrap around my waist. I looked down and saw the hands were tattoo-less, meaning it wasn't Alex.
I slightly turned my head and saw Josh fast asleep. Shit, did I sleep with him?
Soon realizing I still had clothes on -and he did as well- I let out a sigh of relief, causing Josh to wake up.
"Good morning." he kissed my cheeks happily as I turned around in his arms.
"Morning." I mumbled.
"What's wrong, love?" he asked, concern showing on his face.
"I can't remember shit from last night." I chuckled lightly but it was only to cover up the worried tone in my voice.
"Nothing happened. You just got really drunk and then I brought you up here. I didn't want you to just go home with some random guy." he assured me.
I smiled. He was such a gentlemen, "Thank you." I kissed his nose before getting out of the bed. He groaned slightly but didn't protest like Alex would have.
Speaking of Alex? Where was he?
"I think I'm going to go back to my room. I need to shower. And get ready for day two of Jack's all mighty birthday week." I laughed as I picked up my phone from the bedside table.
It started ringing and I looked at the ID.
Harley.
"I'm gonna take this in the bathroom." I said slowly. Josh didn't protest, he just furrowed his brow but layed back down.
"Hello?" I answered quietly.
"Hey Beth. How are you doing?" his voice was low and I knew why.
I bit my lip, "I didn't tell the guys. They still don't know." I said lowly.
"Why not? You can't keep this from them."
"It's not like it matters. Tomorrow you'll be coming to pick me up, and then they'll be going on tour Monday. So they wouldn't even be in town for the funeral. It's better if I just don't tell them." I glanced in the mirror and saw how much of a mess I was. Ew.
"I don't think that's the smartest choice, Beth."
"It doesn't matter, it's not your choice." I snapped.
He stayed quiet for a moment before sighing, "Alright."
"So what about you and Alex?" he asked.
I heard a knock on the bathroom door and jumped, "I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye." I quickly hung up before he could object and turned to open the door.
Josh stood there with a worried look on his face. "Who's funeral?"
I looked around awkwardly before taking his hand and bringing him into the small living room of his suite. It's not like I could come up with a lie, so I might as well tell him.
"I didn't want to tell the guys, I don't want to ruin Jack's birthday." I whispered.
He nodded his head, letting me go on, "My dad died a few days ago. I have the funeral services all next week. I know the guys would want to go, but it's their tour, and I don't want to deal with it. So I haven't told them."
ALEX'S POV
I sat down by the pool with Rian, looking around for Liz. I hadn't seen her after last night when I saw her leave with Josh. I was spiteful and jealous but that didn't stop me from liking her, or being worried about her.
