Lionheart and Adderfang were guarding the camps' entrance. Dawn was coming. They both watched a mouse eating a seed underneath a tree. Their pelts itched to go catch it. They then heard paw steps in the woods. Adderfang was about to speak but Lionheart shushed him. "I smell rogues" whispered Adderfang. Lionheart nodded. Then a cat screeched in the forest. All of a sudden, rogues poured out of the night and into the camp. One light brown tabby attacked Adderfang. The tabby bit down hard on his leg. "Ow!" Yowled Adderfang. Lionheart lept on a small tortoiseshell. "Get lost!" Screeched Lionheart. He battered the tortoiseshell with his claws until she yowled and ran into the forest. The whole clan was awake now. All of the Warriors streamed into the open and attacked the rogues. Stormeye and Lightningstrike rushed to guard the nursery. "Stay in there kits!" Screamed Stormeye. Icestorm and Skyfeather stood over their kits in terror. A light grey she-cat ran towards the nursery but Stormeye knocked her away. A tall black and white tom looked at his cats being beaten and yowled "Retreat!" All of the rogues then ran out of the camp and into the night.
