Soon the cats and Midnight came to a gorge with roaring waters. Everyone but Icestorm and Midnight looked terrified. "I...I'm not going down there." Shadowmoon backed away nervously. "There's nothing to be afraid of young one." Midnight walked over to Shadowmoon and put her on her back. "Hey!" "Put me down!" Hissed Shadowmoon but Midnight was already climbing down the gorge. The cats followed Midnight. The whole way down, Shadowmoon had the biggest eyes and her fur was twice its size. Once Midnight and the cats got down to the bottom of the gorge, where no water could reach them, Shadowmoon jumped off of Midnight's back and sat down. "I'm sure you are all hungry." Said Midnight. All of the cats nodded with hungry eyes. "Well, if you step right in here, you'll find many mice hidden in the crevices of the rocks." Midnight stepped through an opening in the rock and the cats followed her. The cave was very dark and it took a minute for the cats' eyes to adjust. "Feel free to hunt for mice and when you get tired, you can sleep in that area over there." Midnight gestured toward another hole in the cave. Sal and Night went to the sleeping place and Nettleclaw, Leafpool, and Shadowmoon went to hunt for all of the cats. "Icestorm, come with me please." Said Midnight. Icestorm followed Midnight into yet another hole. "Where are we going Midnight?" "To get the special herb for Rockkit and a herb for your friend." Answered Midnight.
