Midnight swept her gaze over the cats until her eyes landed on Night. Midnight looked angrily at Twilight. "Twilight!" "I told you I was expecting visitors!" "And, I also told you to not attack them!" Yelled Midnight. "Midnight, I was just protecting Dawn and Dusk." Dawn and Dusk peeked out from behind their fathers back. Midnight shook her head. "Twilight, please take Dawn and Dusk back to our cave." Twilight did as he was told. Midnight turned her attention back to the cats. "Come,come." "Let's get you fixed up." Shadowmoon and Nettleclaw rushed over to Night and let him lean on their shoulders. Icestorm walked alongside Midnight. "Tell me Icestorm, the snake that bit Rockkit, is it the same one that killed your mother?" Icestorm felt her eyes water. "Yes, it is." "Icestorm, this time will be different." "Rockkit will live to be the greatest deputy in the history of the clans." "And as for your other kits, Rosekit will be leader and Littlekit will be a medicine cat." "Your kits will live long and healthy lives filled with joy." Icestorm's eyes were shining with happiness and relief. "Oh Midnight!" "That's wonderful!"
