when i stepped out of the shower a towel wrapped securely around my torso, i saw Darien just finishing pulling on his shirt.
"Where are you going?" i asked, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear. Darien turned to look at me, a smile on his face.
"We are going out for fittings." he murmured, buttoning the last button on his shirt. my brow furrowed in confusion. "fittings?"
Darien looked up at me, seeing the confusion on my face. he walked over to me, wrapping his arms around me "yes, the fittings for our wedding. and we better hurry because i don't think i can control myself if you look this good in nothing else but a towel." he whispered, leaning forward and pressing his lips to mine.
i felt myself blush remembering what we had been doing only moments ago in the shower. "mmmm, you taste good." he smiled, pulling away to look at me.
i rolled my eyes, lightly hitting him on the shoulder. "oh shut up." i laughed, pulling out of his grasp and going over to my closet.
40 minutes later we were pulling up infront of a wedding boutique. I pulled off my seat belt but stopped when i realized that Darien wasn't moving.
"Aren't you coming in?" i frowned. Darien gave me a smile before shaking his head. "no. don't you know its bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the actual wedding?" he mused leaning forward and pecking me on the lips.
"besides, my sister is in there waiting for you." i couldn't help but groan. "so you're leaving me?"
"yup, and that puppy dog face you're giving me,although very intriguing is not going to make me stay." he chuckled tracing a finger over my bottom lip.
letting out a sigh i pulled away, sliding out of the car. "bye." i grumbled. "i'll see you later, have fun" he chuckled seeing my small glare.
i walked into the boutique and gasped seeing the nicest dresses lining the walls from front to back. "hello there" a woman smiled, coming out with a silver platter and a glass of champagne.
"is that for me?" i asked eyeing the drink. the girl laughed nodding as she handed the glass over to me.
just before i was able to take a sip of the bubbly it was taken out of my grasp. "drinks are for coherent adults. something of which you are neither. now go to the back. i've picked out a few dresses for you to try on." Evelyn sighed, taking a sip of my drink.
"but this is my wedding! i should pick the dress." i scowled, crossing my arms over my chest. Evelyn looked at my stance before rolling her eyes.
"you might be the bride but what ever i choose you will like and you will wear. now go to the change rooms or i'll sew you into the dress myself." she stated her voice low and emotionless.
i couldn't help but shudder. "you know you're really scary sometimes" i muttered under my breath as i stalked off to the back.
