Rihanna's P.O.VI blinked instantly, at loss of words as he finished his sentence and looked at me, searching my eyes. I cleared my throat and frowned deeply as I rubbed my shoulder still thinking of an excuse to cover up how utterly stupid I looked right now. "Shit, Jax. I'm s- I'm so sorry. I ain't know it was like that.." I managed to say, looking over at him. He seemed very unsatisfied, offended even. As if no matter how many times I apologized it'd just never be enough. And I hated that. If anyone anything about me, it was that I always loved to be in control of the energy around me and people's emotions. I took a step closer to him and placed a hand at his cheek, caressing at it slightly with the pad of my thumb.
The closer contact between us instantly had an impact, because his features softened and he leaned into my touch in almost an instant. As if this was all he'd been craving. His eyes stared into mine as he leaned closer. Part of me wanted to push him away and tell him to back the fvck away, watch his distance like last time, but I wanted to make him "happy" for now, just so he'd forget what I had said about him earlier. His lips interlocked with my own as I fluttered my eyes shut, hands wrapping around my waist and holding me captive. Jaxon kept the kiss intimate, hands working on my body but truth be told, I wasn't into it. Barely. Could. Be. Fvcked. Guess it's true what they say; "You can't force attraction."
BANG BANG BANG!"
Both me and Jaxon jumped suddenly at the loud knock that rang at the door from nowhere, we both looked at each other with shocked faces as if we'd witnessed a ghost. "Open the motherfuhckn door right now nigga!" I heard a man's voice yell, the constant banging still ongoing. Whoever it was seemed violent and ready to cause trouble. I screamed loudly and began panicking, shaking Jaxon's shirt as I looked at him with now innocent and teary eyes. So much for my tough girl act now. "Who the fuck is that?! Jaxon, wha- what's going on?" Jaxon looked just as shocked and worried as I was, but something in his eyes told me he knew something I didn't. "It's.. Rakim and his crew." And as he mentioned the man's name, the look on his face told me we weren't making it out of this apartment alive.
