Alone.
I was in my dark lit room. My usual petrifying thoughts consuming me. I screamed as I ran my hands through my hair, tugging at the ends of my braids.
I was having yet another breakdown. It'd been awhile since I'd had one which was why I always made sure I wasn't alone. I usually had Ferg or Amani to come through calm me down when I really started tripping. But they weren't there to my rescue. Like I said, I was alone.
My past was something that refused to let me be. The haunting memories, innocent lives I'd taken, all the inhumane crimes I'd done all for the love of money.
I laid back on my bed, fluttering my eyes shut in attempt to sleep it all off. In attempt to shut my conscious mind from reminiscing such daunting memories.
That's when the light comes in, and the darkness instantly disappears. The light was her.
I didn't even need to open my eyes to know who she was. She crawled up on the bed and in moments she straddled my lap.
I opened my eyes. Her award-winning smile taking my breath away.
Instantly I'd forgotten what I was stressing over. I didn't need to anymore, she was there. To listen and ride with me. We had each other.
She began grinding against me. I wasn't expecting it but I went along with her movements as I chuckled, gripping her ass.
That's when it all stopped. She vanished. The room was dark again, but I still felt friction between my legs as the grinding continued, making me slightly excited.
My eyes fluttered open, and it took a few seconds for my vision to be completely ear. My eyes adjusting to the sudden light. That's when I saw her. And it wasn't the her I'd been dreaming about. It was Mercedes. She continued grinding as she ran a hand through her hair.
