Erruption of Butterflies

the other night, you gave me a hug
and held onto me for dear life.
you told me not to leave you,
you told me that you wouldn't be able
to handle the pain if i left.
you told me that i was the only
thing that mattered to you.

and my heart was going crazy,
and my palms were a little sweaty.

but instead of butterflies erupting in
my stomach, your touch ignited
a huge fire, that roared
deep into my soul. it burned
bright, like my love for you,
and it made me cough up the
ashes of my heart,
my heart that used to beat
for you.

__
you make me feel crazy.
