It wasn't a dance, a touch or a kiss,
That took my breath, that bound my soul
An innocent cry, a tear of kindness,
My genuine sign that topped them all.
My spirit soared, I couldn't process,
The novel feeling of being whole.

My angel flew with melted wings,
My angel fell in a perfect mess.
The simple joy that first love brings,
Touching my core, a sweet caress.
My heart kneeled and prayed for things,
To bring me near my dream empress.
Lord, let her be mine, let her be the one,
My honored queen in a lily-white dress.
