Coffee Miss

My morning coffee awaits her kiss
Sugar's bitter compared to her lips
Honey's shy of the miraculous eyes
Cream is the mien I always miss

***
Silken mocha tresses tickling her chin,
Milky vestal hands, wiping out my sin,
Pouring out inky fire caressing my skin,
Scent of brewing espresso made my head spin,

The one I'm searching for,
no need to second-guess.

***

My heart comes to grinds longing for a sip,
Roasted beans, boiling milk, joy in each drip,
Heavenly aroma through her fingertip,
Refilling my soul, with a curve of her lips,

***

My lifetime slips in a porcelain cup,
Sweet vanilla zest drinking me up,
Filtering my thoughts till the sun is up,
Wondering when we'll meet again,

Me and my Coffee Miss.
