Once there was a city

City as precious as time

Time of ancient beauty

Beauty as sweet as rhyme

*

Essence of the world

World of strife and wars

Wars freeze and crumple

Crumple at her doors

*

Charm, peace, and light

Light all night and day

Day trips in the sun

Sun of eternal ray

*

Meet the land of wonders

Wonders of timeless history

History is a good  friend

Friend who keeps her mystery

*

People may seem simple

Simple is no shame

Shame you're still not coming

Coming soon is a claim

Coming soon is a claim
