Friends are like red diamonds
Rare, brilliant, precious, enduring
I've been gifted a unique Jewel
Exquisitely fancy-colored soul
No oceans matter so long as we
Drift in the poetry of our words
Share our hearts through the aether
Hang in space between our worlds
Imagining how it'd be like to gather
Perfection is the imperfection
Lies within the deep blue Hope
A Hypomania of hues shining truth
Strong and piquant as quality quotes
Touch base with the eager mind
Stimulating thoughts and confabulation
Family be familiarity not blood relation
Only a 24-carat tickles fanciful imagination
Rubies are good, pearls are fine, plenty
Each semi-precious bauble an instant
Vague short stories, lackluster rocks
Ergo authenticity not a Forbidden quest
Remember, God's The Maker of the best.
