(Noa's POV)

I woke up with a pounding headache. I sat up straight and held my head. "Oh, fuck me." I muttered. I got out of bed and dragged myself into the bathroom. I looked into the mirror and squinted my eyes. I heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I said and walked back into my room. An elleth with an apron around her waist bowed before me. "Is there anything I can get you, My Lady?" She asked. "Uhm, I'd love a hot bath and maybe something to sooth my headache." I said and the maid nodded. "I'll get your bath ready." She said and went into my bathroom. A little later she stepped out. "The bath is ready. When you're finished you can go to the infirmary to get something for your headache." The maid said and I nodded.

I walked into the bathroom and got into the bath. I lifted my head back and relaxed. I quickly got out because my head was killing me. I dressed myself and walked to the infirmary. As I entered I saw Linde. "Hey, getting your arm looked after?" I asked. "Yeah, they're also giving me something for my headache." She said and I laughed. "That's why I'm here." I said and she nodded. "That's why they're here too." Linde said pointing at Femke and Esmee. They waved at me and I smiled.

A nurse got me a weird looking drink. "What's this?" I asked. "A secret, but it'll help with your headache." The nurse said. I didn't really care anyway, I just wanted my head to stop throbbing. When Linde was done we all walked to the dining room. We sat down at the table and started eating our food. "So, how are you this morning?" Thranduil asked us. We all glared at him and he chuckled. "Is the medicine helping at all?" Legolas asked and I nodded. "Yeah, doesn't take away that it was disgusting though." Linde nagged drinking some water.

After breakfast we went to my room and we spend the day fooling around and resting. We wanted to have fun on the last day Femke and Esmee were here but we couldn't do much because of the hangover. We helped Femke and Esmee pack a few things from their rooms. Just some clothes, a bit of money and other things that were dear to them. After dinner Esmee and Femke went to bed cause they had to be up early the next day. I stepped into my bed and fell asleep.

I walked through an old looking city. The buildings were ruined and the walls were covered with ash as if they city had been burning. Snow gently fell from the sky and melted as it fell onto my warm skin. The ground was littered with bodies, both young and old. Some bodies were burnt and others were covered with blood. The city was dead quiet and no one was around.

I walked through the plaza of the city and I saw a doll lying on the ground covered in snow and blood. I picked it off the ground and inspected the doll. It was slightly burnt and worn out. It must have been the girl's favourite doll. I placed the doll back on the ground and continued exploring the city.

I reached the big gate and a big bridge that led to a vast wilderland. A big mountain stood there on its own. As I squinted my eyes I saw a big blueish gate in the mountain. It was destroyed, probably by something big. The thought alone brought shivers down my spine.

It didn't take me very long before I realized where the hell I was. I was in Dale and the big solitary mountain before me was Erebor, The Lonely Mountain.

Tolkien's descriptions were very accurate when he described these places. Almost as if he had been here himself. I walked on the big plain and I couldn't see my feet because of all the dead bodies around me. The ground was filled with elves, dwarves, men and orcs. I saw a woman bend over a cold body. I walked towards her and looked at the trembling figure. When I saw the dead body on the ground my breath hitched in my throat. It was Legolas with a dagger in his abdomen. "Wha-what happened?" I asked, tears filling my eyes.

The woman looked at me with her crying face. I gasped loudly. "Linde!" I exclaimed as she looked at me. Linde's breath was ragged and she had difficulty breathing. That's when I noticed a dagger in his chest. It wasn't just anyone's dagger, it was one of Legolas's twin daggers. I looked back on the blade that stuck out of Legolas and I started feeling dizzy. It was Linde's sword that had pierced him. "What did you do?" I asked in total panic. "We're all damned! We're all going to die!" Linde screamed as if she was in agony.
