(Legolas's POV)

Noa and Linde had only been away for a week and I missed them so much. I couldn't stop thinking about the last conversation I had with Linde. Well, you can't really call it a conversation I'm afraid. She was the only thing that occupied my mind and I was in agony. She didn't love me, she never did. She only used me but for what purpose, I don't know. I tried to avoid the corridor with her room as best as I possibly could. I didn't want to see anything that could remind me of her.

I had to forget her, I just don't know how because the fact is that I love her. I love her but she doesn't love me and it tears my heart apart.

I sat in my room and just stared at nothing. I had already missed two days of training and I hadn't done any of my chores. I would only come out of my room to get some food from the kitchen and I ate in my room. My room was a mess because I didn't allow any maid or servant to enter.

I heard a soft knock and I was pulled back to reality. I looked at the door rather irritated. "Didn't I say no servants?!" I shouted at the door. Still, the door opened and I stood up to send out whoever wanted to enter. I froze and stopped when I saw it was Tauriel. "What are you doing here?" I asked walking back to the chair and sat down.

"I'm here to make sure you're alright." Tauriel replied closing the door behind her. "I'm fine." I coolly said wanting to be alone again. "You weren't at the training today. Everyone wondered where you were." "You can train them, right? They don't need two trainers." I simply said and I heard Tauriel sigh.

"Legolas, I worry about you. You just haven't been yourself lately." "You needn't worry, I'm absolutely fine." I said not looking at Tauriel. "Well, I do worry. You're heartbroken." Tauriel said sitting next to me and placing her hand on my arm. "It doesn't concern you!" I said jumping to my feet. "Now leave! I want to be alone!" Tauriel looked hurt and slowly stood up.

I walked to the door and opened it for her. Tauriel stopped in front of me and looked at me with a painful expression. "What happened to you?" She asked before walking out. I let out a deep breath and shut the door. "A little piece of me died." I softly whispered and closed my eyes letting some tears fall down my cheeks.

(Linde's POV)

I sat in the library with Noa. I carefully skimmed through an old thick book afraid I would rip the thin paper. Noa closed her book and dust flew in the air making her sneeze. I laughed when she sneezed for the fifth time in a row. "Bless you!" I said laughing and Noa sighed. "I'm hungry!" She said making me laugh again.

"Dinner's almost ready, I'm sure." I said and Noa placed her head on the table. I also closed my book. "Come, let's go to the dining area or something." I said and she nodded. We walked through the corridors when we passed Lindir. "Ah, I was coming to get you! Dinner's ready!"

Noa looked at me. "How did you know?" She asked and I just shrugged. "You were hungry, let's just go." I said and we walked to the dining area with Lindir. Elrond sat at the head of the table with his children on one side. I sat in front of Arwen and Noa sat next to me and Lindir next to her.

"So, how are you enjoying your stay in Rivendell so far?" Elladan asked. "They've only been here a week." Arwen said to her older brother. "That doesn't mean they do not have an opinion." Elladan replied making me chuckle. "I'm enjoying myself!" Noa said and I nodded agreeing.

"This place sure keeps your mind off of things." I said the smile on my face disappearing. "Would you like to share your thoughts with us?" Elrond asked but I shook my head. "It's nothing." I said smiling half-heartedly.

"You know what, why don't we all have a nice walk after dinner?" Arwen suggested and her brothers agreed. "The weather is very nice." Elrohir said. "Will you join us, ada?" Arwen asked and Elrond nodded. "And you Lindir? Would you like to come with us?" "But of course, My Lady." Lindir said bowing his head.
