(Noa's POV)
Linde and I sat by a small stream just outside the walls of the palace. The sun was already quite low and a late summer breeze played with my hair. I was reading a book about an old battle between elves, men and orcs. Linde was throwing stones into the small stream and every so often I heard the water splash. "Are you frustrated?" I asked not looking up from my book. "Maybe." Linde replied clearly troubled.
Linde walked back to the blanket we had sprawled out on the ground. She sat down with a thud. "Tell me, what's troubling you?" I asked putting my book aside. "Is it about Legolas?" I guessed and Linde slowly nodded. "What did Thranduil say to you?" I asked and Linde deeply sighed.

(Linde's POV)
"What the hell is going on here?" Thranduil asked with a red face. I stepped away from Legolas and looked at the ground. "Well?" "Nothing of your concern!" Legolas said and Thranduil walked towards us. "I am your father! Of course it's my concern!" He snapped back angrily. "You can't always tell me what to do, ada." Legolas said slightly calming down. "Get out." Thranduil said to Legolas while pointing at the door.
Legolas looked at me and then walked out. "Noa, could you please leave us alone?" Thranduil asked giving me a deathglare. Noa left and now I was alone with Thranduil. "Do you think you're in the position to be with my son?" He asked but I didn't reply. "I asked you a question." I kept my mouth shut and stared at the ground.
"Fair enough. If I see you make any kind of romantic move towards Legolas, I'll throw you in the cells." Thranduil said and walked out the room. I started shaking out of fear and fell to the ground with tears staining my cheeks. I heard Legolas and Thranduil argue in the corridor. "Leave her alone!" Legolas shouted. "No! You leave her alone, Legolas! Do you understand?!" Then Legolas shouted in frustration. I covered my ears and cried on my balcony. I fell asleep on the balcony with tearstained cheeks and red puffy eyes.

"I'm sorry." I said but Linde shook her head. "It's not your fault." She said and I sighed. It started getting chilly and I shivered. "Shall we go back?" I asked and Linde nodded. We grabbed our stuff and walked back to the palace. "I was thinking maybe we should visit another city." I said and Linde looked at me. "Why?" She asked and I shrugged. "Just to forget the events of the last few days. I think that it's a good idea if we just go away for a short while. I was thinking about going to Gondor, maybe Rohan. You know where I want to go? I'd love to go to Lothlòrien! Rivendell would be even better!" I exclaimed getting excited to travel.
"You think Thranduil would allow us to go?" Linde asked and I nodded. "Yeah, if we tell him why." I said. "Sure, sounds fun." "Great!"
I knocked on the door of Thranduil's study and opened it after he replied. Linde and I walked in. "What can I do for you?" Thranduil asked not looking up from his work. "Linde and I want to take a short trip." Thranduil looked up in surprise. "To where?" He asked and I shrugged. "I dunno, some place away from here." I said and Thranduil stood up. "You don't like it here?" He asked. "We do but we just think that it might be a good idea if we just leave for a few weeks." "And why do you think it's a good idea?"
"We can get to see more of Middle-Earth and it might solve your problem with Linde and Legolas." I explained and Thranduil slowly nodded while looking at Linde who had been staring at the ground the entire time. "Tell where you'd like to go and I'll arrange it for you." "We'll tell you tonight at dinner so we can think about it." I said and Thranduil gave me a nod and Linde and I walked out.
We walked to my room and sat down at the big table. I quickly grabbed a map of Middle-Earth and sat down. "Okay, where should we go?" I asked but Linde only shrugged. "I know you don't really want to go but it'll be refreshing. I'm sure it will help." I said placing my hand on her's. Linde smiled at me and then sighed. "You're right." We both looked at the map and thought about a place to go. After a few minutes of looking and arguing we finally agreed on where we wanted to travel.
