Here we go.

"Alright, kids. Thirty seconds until its go time." Lorne held up a hand with three fingers standing up.

"Yes Staff Sergeant!" Will Ferrell screamed at the top of his lungs. Lorne turned around and smacked him on the back of the head as Will ran off, snickering and clutching the back of his head.

Robin, Jimmy, Tina, and I were standing just outside the hall doors that open to the studio. I could see the determined look spread across Jimmy and Tina's faces. I was getting jittery, but the good kind of jittery. I shook my hands out a little bit to get some of the nerves out. I pulled the Monica Lewinsky wig I was wearing tighter onto my head. I was in the opening.

I looked over at Robin whose eyes couldn't have been open any wider even if she tried.

"Alright kid. After we go out there, I don't know how much I can help you. You good with everything?"

She never took her eyes off the stage but said, "Even if I don't, I don't really have a choice do I?"

"That's right."

"Alright then. I'm ready." The tone of her voice even gave me a certain amount of confidence.

"Okay kids! Take your places!" Lorne said waving his arms up in the air. He took his position in his chair in front of a monitor as usual.

I patted Robin on the back and wished her good luck. She didn't say or do anything except for nod and half smile.

Jimmy wasn't in this sketch, but he followed me up to the stage as usual. I looked back once and quickly smiled at him before walking onto the set. We had 10 seconds before cameras were on and people were yelling at me to hurry up. I went to take the step onto the stage but all of the sudden, I felt a hand latch on to the middle of my forearm and pull me backwards. Before I even knew what was happening, Jimmy had planted a kiss on me. He held it for just a split second before letting me go to tell me, "Don't worry about Robin. I'll be watching over her. I love you."

I had three seconds left, so I booked it to my place and gave him a wink and mouthed the words "I love you" to him. He gave me a double thumbs up before taking a few steps backward so that he wouldn't be in the way. I looked at him for as long as I could before the cameras started rolling. I could just barely make out two men standing behind Jimmy. They weren't standing together, but they were standing close to each other. I couldn't help but stifle a laugh as I could see the jealousy radiating off of them as they glared at the back of Jimmy's head. Of course, it was Seth Meyers and Derek Jeter. Damn. If I would've known back in high school that I would have had all these man-dimes crawling all over me at the same time, maybe I wouldn't have dated Eddy. Pshhhh. Maybe. I definitely wouldn't have. Ha. Eddy is a huge fan of the Yankees and Derek too. Funny how things turn out, isn't it?

"We're live!" I could barely hear Lorne yelling in the background.

I snapped myself back to reality and immediately felt a sense of euphoria as the crowd erupted with applause when they saw Darrell and I on stage.

"Thank you to the cast and crew and writers for everything this week. Its been one of the best weeks of my life and none of it would be possible if it wasn't for you guys. I hope you all had fun and good night!" Derek's words closed out the show and prompted us to all start hugging one another. I was standing next to him the whole time smiling and waving. When he finished, I turned to my right and hugged Robin right away though I didn't realize that I had just completely snubbed Derek who went to hug me first. Oops.

Robin and I separated from our hug and I could see that her face was completely tear stained and wasn't able to portray anything other than complete happiness. "This was the greatest day of my life. Thank you for everything." She said just before Derek made his way over to her to tell her how well she had done.
