Last night, Liam revealed his deal with Mrs Howard: we'd be volunteering for their foundation.

With no real choice but to comply, I decided to wake up early, not that I slept much anyway. The boys hadn't either, judging by the groans and complaints. Blame it on the wooden beds without mattresses. Fantastic.

But even a hard bed beats sleeping outside in dirty clothes.

I got up, using my foot to fish out my dirty shoe from under Loui's bed. I walked straight to the door, gripped the knob, and shuffled to the bathroom. My mind was a whirlwind of worry.

How would we start our day today?

All of a sudden, I slightly jolted in surprise as I opened the door that peered into our room. At the same time, the door opened from the inside.

A girl with messy eyeliner and dishevelled hair yawned, then looked stricken after seeing me.

"H-Hi." I managed, my smile as wobbly as a newborn fawn's legs. I'd imagined this moment a thousand times – her eyes lighting up, her body launching towards me in a whirlwind of joy and limbs, perhaps even tackling me in an exuberant embrace.

Reality, as it often does, had other plans.

Without a word, she spun on her heel and bolted back into the room. The door slammed shut with such force it felt like a physical blow, the sound reverberating through my skull like a cannon blast.

"Yeowch!" I yelped, frantically massaging my ears as if I could knead away the ringing. So much for a warm welcome. It seemed I had some explaining to do – assuming I could get past that newly fortified door.

She's not a fan maybe? Or one of our haters I guess.

I went back inside the room.

And my lads rose from their bed, as Harry was still asleep.

"What happened? What's with that noisy door?" Lou asked While drawing his fingers in his eyelids.

"I don't know she just slams the door with so much force," I answered.

"Who?" Liam questioned while stretching his shoulder with pain settling on his face. Well, I know why.

"The girl from Next Door," I said shortly. Stretching again.

"Syd? The girl last night?" Liam then climbs down.

"No, not her someone else." I neared the opened window. And all of a sudden, I just froze in the beautiful view there.

Wind just blows in my skin, as I take a deep breath. What fresh air, Sea waves can be heard, white sand, chipping birds. The first time we got here. I never found this place so amazing and fascinating, so breathtaking. The only problem was that this place was too quiet. I mean aside from nature's rhythms. There are no other people left here.

No girls wearing their bikinis to swim.

No hot chic walking in the sand.

What's the use of this wonderful place if no other people can appreciate it.

I missed Miami, Hawaii, California and Rio.

" My back is hurt." I heard from behind. I looked around to see Loubear complaining again about his back pain. And he bends gently.
