Aidan's POV:

I could feel myself bubbling with anxiety to see Ressa the now vampire queen again.

I tried to teach her to not hurt humans, I tried to make her drink another outlet for blood, but she made her own decisions. I missed her for so long, I didn't want her to leave, I was mad when I found out she was going to be married to the prince of demons, a little happy when he decided to leave her, I wanted to be there for her but I didn't want to bear the pain she would bestow upon me if she left me again.

It was an eight hour drive, no matter what, Shane's persistence would not decrease.

I looked at the passenger seat and saw Christina drooling with her eyes closed, obviously asleep. I took the chance to get to know this Shane Violet talks about. "You must really like Violet." I hummed.

"What, no, we're just friends."

"You have been driving for five hours without even a yawn."

"And?" Shane kept his stubborn act up.

"And you obviously like her a lot to be driving so long just to find her."

"Ok Mr. Psycho-therapist, you seem to like her a lot too because you're included in this trip to find her too. She might just be at a park or something but apparently we care too much and we're too stubborn to ignore the feeling in our gut that she is not in a good place right now."

Shanes words kept me quiet for a few seconds, but then a question popped in my head.

"Who do you think she would choose between you and I?" I had the urge to ask for his opinion. I really like Violet, and she seems to enjoy my company, but I don't have a great idea of how their relationship is.

"We would have to ask her to find out."

Shane's POV:

"We would have to ask her to find out"

The truth was, I didn't ever want to ask, afraid of what her response might be. I have been so mean to her lately. I believe that she would choose Aidan, and I would whine the rest of my life regretting how I spent my time with her.

I hope we find her soon, I want to improve our relationship. I understand that she might just be around close to her home, or somewhere she knows well, but I will not take the chance of turning back to search for her when finding this map will tell me her exact location. I beg that she is still wearing the ring, I beg that she cares enough about me that she will keep wearing the ring until we find her!

I sighed, I do hope she cares about me, it scares me how much I want her to care for me,I cant believe the things I would do for this girl.

I do love Violet. Her gorgeous smile, her cute giggle, her amazing eyes, if only she was mine.....
