Take Me Away

The Situation -Chapter 8-

Hours later my eyes squinted open bright lights surrounded my eyes, I felt lightheaded and nauseous. I opened my eyes completely and was in shock. I was back in that claustrophobic pale room with the speckled white floor. I was on a white bed, a tube with a clear liquid entering my vein was on my left arm and my right foot was wrapped in a thin cast white as snow.

My breaths became fast and short, panic grew within me coursing through my veins. I raised my hand to my head and there was a soft texture next to my temple.

"Don't worry, don't panic. Everything is alright, it's all ok." I looked over to see Jason's eyes wide reflecting worry off of every corner of his eyes, but sincerity masked his face, he believed everything would be ok.

"Why am I here, how did this happen? Why are you everywhere I go!?!" Tears gushed out of my eyes, as the frustration levels were high inside of me.

"You were in a car accident, you hit a tree I don't know what you were thinking about at that moment that distracted you but you hit your head on the steering wheel. Your foot somehow got trapped in the brake and the cars impact on the tree sprained your ankle. Also you never answered my question if you wanted to go out with me, I just wanted to know."

"I really don't think right now is the time for this!" My voice shivered.

"Look I'm not a bad guy, just please give me a chance." He bit his lip and raised one eyebrow. He looked so cute and innocent, but I was still a bit hesitant about him.

"How old are you?" I asked, my voice still shaky.

"19, I know I don't look my age..."

"Ok, nevermind this really isn't the time for a conversation!!" I yelled.

The door swung open and a male nurse came in, otherwise known as Jake. "Are you alri...hey I know you!" He pointed at me with a goofy grin.

I ignored his terrible attempt to calm me down.

"Why am I here!?" I screamed.

"Chill out! You were in a car accident and someone who said was close to you called an ambulance and came with you."

"Who?" I yelled.

"I said calm down! It was Shane."

"What?" Questions immediately popped in my head.

I looked over at Jason, his eyes were fixed on Jake staring intently, as if he was trying to melt him with his eyes. He noticed me watching and softened up.

Jake continued. "So yeah, after you heal up and get that pretty face again, do you want to meet up somewhere?"

I didn't think twice about my answer. "No."

"Don't be like that." Jake said, it seems like the word no isnt a part of his vocabulary.

He stalked closer to me. His face was close to mine, I was on the edge of this small bed, his breath bounced off my lips, I felt myself sweating, getting nervous.

I could see the details in his face clearer. His eyes were dark and depth less, almost a black, he eyed my face and eyes, a half smile appeared on his face. His lips brushed mine, I laid back on the white pillow under my head wanting distance from him, I felt no attraction to him.

Jason watched over me, seeing my body tense.

The door jerked open and in came Shane, Jake backed away from me.
