Shane's P.O.V.:

Ressa's guards politely let us enter as we informed them our business here.

"Shane." Ressa began, surprise in her voice. "Why are you here?"

"I would really enjoy it, if you gave me the map I lent to you a while ago. I need it to find a friend of mine." I asked warmly.

"I'm sort of busy at the moment."

"Who are you keeping Ressa?" Christina questioned.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Ressa sincerely replied.

"I think you have a friend of ours named Violet." Christina chimed, a serious look on her face.

"Shes here?" I asked Christina.

"She has to be."

"Where is she Ressa?"

"We haven't seen each other in a hundred years and this is how I'm treated? Harsh. Anyways I thought you guys wanted to catch up, I guess not..." Ressa posed a frown.

"This isn't funny bloodsucker, give her back." Jake voiced.

"Who let the dog out?" Ressa smiled, evil glinted in her red eyes. "I'm sorry Shane, I will have to ask you to leave, I have something important to attend to."

"Were not leaving."

"Well of course not, not without the help of a few of my friends." Ressa's guards arrived, and began to drag us out as we struggled against their grip. We got an opportunity to have a fight with a few of the guards, but soon more of them began to flood, pushing us towards the castle entrance.

"Goodbye my love!" Ressa gleamed, waving goodbye as the guards shoved us out the door. I cursed and pulled at the door, hoping to break through.

"Shane stop! We need a plan to...." Christina began to say.

"Lets get away from this castle so we don't attract wandering ears." Jacob interrupted nudging in the castles direction.

We hiked far away from the mansion, hoping no eavesdroppers would be following.

"So whats the plan?" Christina whispered.

We discreetly discussed the plan, preparing for any obstacles that might stop us.

Running back towards the mansion we decided to split up and search an area of the house, and to text each other if we found anything that might lead to her.

I went to the back of the castle and coincidentally found an open window, just big enough for me to squeeze through.

The inside of the castle seemed liked an insane asylum,  everywhere I looked the walls bled with red paint. The floor was a darker hue than that of the walls, carpeted with small gold spots arranged in a circular pattern, like a golden firework exploding at the red of day.

The red painted hall ended and another one began the entire hallway lifeless with out color. I navigated my way through the basement of the castle and found a giant door with emeralds decorating it and enchanted with a gold and red hue.

"Madame, when do you plan to kill her?"

"The execution can wait, I'm sure she wont be going anywhere."

"Why wont you do it now?"

"I have things on my mind, and don't want to waste my valuable time on killing her right now. Now go get me more blood, I'm parched." I listened to Ressa and a servant of hers speak. I heard footsteps coming my way. I immediately ran going in any direction I found plausible.
