Waking Up -Chapter 20-

I couldn't seem to open my eyes, but I heard an annoying beeping noise ringing in my ear. I tried moving but seemed to be stuck in a stiff position

Am I dead?

No, I can’t be dead. Not yet!

I could feel my eyes burn with tears. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, to anyone. I didn't get a chance to live the life I wanted to live. Why does the world hate me?

I felt my head sting with an excruciating pain.

Am I in hell too, forced to live with an annoying pain in my head? Is Hell this dark? But no one responded. That's just great. I thought to myself staring into the dark.

Everything suddenly shifted; colors ran past me as I was now in a blissful dream.

I looked down to be a dressed in a golden strapless dress reaching above my knees. I was standing outside of a deserted restaurant on Broadway Street; the road was an endless river into blackness. I felt my eyebrow rise. I felt someone take my hand. I turned around to face the empty street, Jason smiled a devilish smile as I gawked at him.

He wore a black suit, a white shirt underneath the coat, his hair styled waving to the side. He looked beyond gorgeous. He winked at me and turned me around. 

The empty restaurant was now beautifully lighted as it buzzed with people.

"Jason what’s happening?" He put a finger up to my lips and pulled me to the door of the restaurant.

A waiter led us to an empty table. The table had a single rose in a thin vase, and two lit red candles at opposite sides. Jason pulled the chair out for me to sit, and he pulled his chair closer to mine, ignoring the arranged plate at the opposite end.

"Violet, I know what I'm about to say will be a lot to handle, but just remember I'm here." He played with my hands. “You’ve been in a coma." I could feel myself begin to hyperventilate, but Jason moved closer and made circles with his thumb on my arm. He sighed and stood up, he put out his hand, and I hesitantly grabbed it, still dealing with the fact that my end is near.

Classical music got louder and danced in my ears. Jason put his hands on my hips and I put mine around his neck, tears already forming in my eyes as my breathing picked up.

Despite everything that has happened, I'm not ready to accept it. I'm not ready to accept death.

We slowly swayed and I took a look around and the restaurant was beginning to get empty, the tables began to disappear. "Tell me more." I glanced at Jason.

"The doctors gave you drugs almost a week ago when you fainted, thinking it would help get rid of the parasite, but the side effects were unexpected and it’s all very technical and confusing. But everything will turn out just fine." I knew he saw the pain in my eyes, because as the music hiked he spun me around in his arms trying to distract me.

I nestled my head in Jason neck, I felt his lips lightly kiss underneath my ear lobe. We swayed steadily, until he let go and stepped to the side walking away slowly. "Jason?" I turned around to see Shane dressed in a tuxedo bringing out his gorgeous eyes.

"Hello Violet." Shane whispered as he put his hands on my waist. "I love you, please wake up soon. I don't want you to leave us, me." My heart sped at his words, as a wide smile appeared on my face, I couldn't seem to respond as my words were stuck in my throat.

Aidan then magically appeared dressed devilishly handsome; I felt my cheeks warm at seeing his beautiful face and his stunning body contrasting with his suit. I stared into his eyes, and smiled, he was still the hot miracle worker making me smile. "I love her too Shane." They stood together, Jason appeared, Jake, and Antonio did too dress just as elegantly and just as stunningly handsome.

But for a strange resaon... my eye only wanted to look at Antonio....

"Don't we all." They all said in unison. I heard the sound of a door close and frowned at the out of place noise, making a ripple in my dream.

"What’s wrong with her?" Shane said they all stared at me as I stood lonely in front of them.

"I don't know but there are tears on her cheeks." I looked at them puzzled, and raised my hand to my face feeling nothing wet.

"Her finger moved!" Antonio yelled. I frowned, they were confusing me.

"I'm right here you guys." I waved at them and sheepishly smiled, as I felt they were completely ignoring my existence right there in front of them.

"Violet, you’re waking up." Jason appeared, everything else disappeared all the guys, the restaurant I stood in the dark with Jason.

He was still dressed in his suit I looked down to be wearing a patterned hospital gown, I shook my head, not wanting to see the truth.

Jason kissed my lips and put his hand over my eyes. "It’s going to be ok, one, two, and three." He counted slowly his voice seemed to drift away with each breath.

I opened my eyes to see six pairs of eyes staring at me. I slowly observed my surroundings.

 There was IV and a heart monitor on my right, the white colored room brought me back to the first day I discovered I had the parasite; my heart began to beat faster as I breathed harder, the heart monitor speeding. 

 A doctor spoke to me standing beside the hospital bed, under his black curly hair his eyes seemed sincere, as they glossed in my direction. "There is a giant possibility you might fall back into a coma, the pressure on your brain has only momentarily subsided. Your friends here say they have a solution to this, which I find very interesting and I do seem to believe every word they tell me, due to previous research in my earlier studies, but never mind that. Despite their options we think we finally have had a break through to kill your parasite, there's a 30% chance it would work for you. We need to know your choice soon."

"Well hello to you too?" Was all I could say when I found my voice.

In the back of my mind I could already sense the idea the boys have conjured up.

What to do?

Awwwww so I am soo sad this story is ending!!!!! I hope you guys can agree with her(/my) decision in the next chapter!!!

And do you guys have a clue who Violet will choose?!?
