"YES, IT WOULD BE GREAT SINCE I HAVE FAITH IN YOU. SO, I'M REST ASSURED THAT EVERYTHING WILL JUST TURN OUT RIGHT. RIGHT?" balik ko.

Tumango sila.

"Right. Thank you for relying on us. You will not regret having ties with Michaelis." Si Tristan.

I glanced at my LeTandy "The Orchid" watch.

"It's already 12:46. I have to go. A gown-fitting awaits me." Pagpaalam ko.

"Beautiful." Tawag sa'kin ni Ran.

"Yes?"

"Can I accompany you there?" nagkamot ito ng batok na parang nahihiya ito.

Kinantyawan naman siya ng mga kasama.

"Oy! Dumada- moves ka ha!" si Andrew

"Pogi points, bro!" sigaw naman ni Damon.

"Paunlakan mo na!" sabi sa akin ni Carl.

Tahimik naman ng iba especially sina Rolf at Mikael.

"No. Besides, I have Maria and Mia with me." Tanggi ko. Parang binagsakan ng langit at lupa ang mukha ni Ran. Hindi ako sure if totoong nag-smirk si Vince sa pag- decline ko kay Ranbabo naunang umalis.

"Some other time, hot guy."

Without me, almost have of the economy will bag down.

My day went smooth as always. Now, as I am having coffee in the garden with Dad, Vince came across my mind.

"Dad." I called to get his attention. He sipped his coffee at nag- angat ng kanyang tingin sa akin.

"Yes, my dear daughter?" tanong niya sa akin ng my halong lambing.

Luminga ako para ma- make sure walang may makarinig. Maria and Mia's retiring to bed by now, I know.

"Dad, do you know someone whose name is Vincent Anton Salvatore?"

He choked by the coffee he's drinking. I would definitely roll my eyes if possible. Stood behind him and pat his back.

"I'm okay. I'm fine, thank you, Annie." Sabi niya pagkatapos so I went back to my seat.

"What did you say?" paulit nito sa akin.

"Dad." I gave him a warning tone. "You know I do not repeat any words I say." He smiled.

"You tried to choke me with your question. Might as well piss you off." Now he's chuckling. Tumalim ang titig ko sa kanya.

Tumikhim siya and straighten his sitting position meaning he's all serious now.

"Why do you ask?" I avoided his gaze.

"Well, VGC is having partnership with MBB." Paliwanag ko.

"So? Is that a reasonable thing for you to ask me who the hell is that guy?" he raised his brows at me.

"Well, it doesn't have to be reasonable for that." Depensa ko.

A smile plastered on his face. "You could just have Maria investigate him."

I sighed in disbelief.

"It is because there's nothing I can ask you." Pag e- explain ko.

"Is it so?" alam kong nagpipigil lang itong matawa.

Mula sa pagkaka-slouch, I straighten my back and lie it sa slightly- inclined na steel chair from Kenneth Cobonpue.

"Fine. Laugh all you want to your heart's content. I don't care." Sabi ko sa kanya. I can hear his laughter fill the night air. Mabuti na lang dahil ilang hektarya ang layo ng palasyo sa next na bahay.

I waited until nawala na ang tawa niya.

"You could be sued with Public Disturbance with that laugh of yours." I said to him. Hindi pa rin nawawala ang ngiti niya.

"Well, sue me if they can. This is a place away from alive streets and houses. We are the only two out here except the roaming security." Paliwanag niya.

I sighed. "What's the matter, Annie?"

"Dad. I..." I think its not the right time yet. "Nothing."

He seems not buying it.

"I've been thinking that this is the only time I feel as if I'm home. That I have a father." I hope makalusot 'to. Of course, yes.

Nilapag niya ang coffee mug sa table. He heaved a deep sigh and looked at me lovingly as a father would.

"Annie, you don't have to feel incomplete. That you don't have a father. Annie, I am your father and no one can changed that. I love you so much as if you're my own. You don't need to feel as if you're home because you shouldn't be. Because you're always at home. Here. With me, your father. Okay?"

"Okay." I wrapped my Hermes shoal around my shoulders and stood up."It's getting late. We both have a long day tomorrow. Good night, Dad." With that, I went inside to sleep.

"Good night, my dear daughter."
