IT WAS ALMOST FOR NANG DUMATING KAMI SA MALACAÑANG. Blangko ang isip ko. I can't think of anything but Vince with the girl at the mall kanina.

"Good afternoon, Miss Annabeth." A bowing maid greeted me pero nilampasan ko lang dahil parang wala ako sa sarili ko.

"Miss Annabeth, may bisita po kayo kanina pa naghihintay sa living room." Paalam niya.

That woke me up into reality. My head turned. "Who?"

"Lalaki po tapos ang gwapo..." sagot niya. Halatang kinikilig ito. "Ayan po siya." Parang sinisilihan niyang turan.

"Isabelle! I missed you!" nakaramdam ako ng mga brasong pumapalibot sa akin.

Hindi ako natinag. "Vann Bernard..." tawag ko at yumakap na din pabalik.

"You look so damn beautiful! I bet you have a sea of suitors." He withdrew from his embrace. I looked at him longingly.

"An ocean, Your Highness. But, I manage to block them."

"Ah! Maria, It's been a long time."

"Oui. Five years to be exact." Sagot ni Maria ng pumasok siya.

"Where's Mia, Maria?" ako.

Naputol ang pagkakamustahan nila sa pagtanong ko.

"Oh. She's upstairs in your room, Miss Annabeth. Mia's putting in some clothes for you."

"Good." I turned to Vann Bernard and rested my arms on his shoulders. "As for you, wait me here. I'll just get dressed and where good to go in a few."

Dahil mas matangkad siya, I tiptoed and kissed him sa magkabilang cheeks. He took my hand into his face and kissed the back of my palm. "Don't keep me waiting."

"Eherm." Maria cut out our moment. "Prince Vann, I'll lead you to the waiting area."

"Ikaw talaga..." Vann Bernard said in a deep french accent as he shook his head and he released me. "Fine. Impress me, Isabelle."

"When did I not?" I replied and took flight in the stairs.

My phone rang. A message from Vince. I ignored it.

"Ooh... Miss Annabeth! I bet you already met Prince Vann downstairs." Mia sheepishly smiles pagpasok ko sa room. "He's getting more handsome as the years passed."

Tinungo ko ang edge ng kama at pasalampak na umupo dito. "You know what, Mia?" I took off my heels. "Vann Bernard's all yours."

Natigilan ito sa pag-aayos ng mga Hermes scarves. "I thought you have feelings for him.

I glared at her. "Have you forgotten already that I have a boyfriend?" sa mga sinabi ko, it only makes me think of of the mall scene. "Besides, Vann Bernard doesn't deserve my love."

"Because he deserves someone better." Dugtong niya.

Nag- ring ang phone ko indicating na I received a message from Vince again. Natigilan ako habang si Mia ay saglit na tinapunan ng tingin ang phone ko bago bumalik sa pag-aayos.

"You better read it." Suhestiyon niya at kinuha ang ginamit kong sapatos.

Hindi ako nakinig sa kanya at pumasok nalang sa banyo. But before that...

"Get me the perfect clothes for my date with Vann Bernard, and don't read messages from him than you usually do."

"Yes, Miss Annabeth."
