Scott POV
I arrived home to see that Mitch was sat on the couch watching TV. He looked back at me with a smile on his face. I walked towards the couch and sat down, snaking my arms around his waist, hugging him. "Hey, Mitchy" I spoke softly.
"Hey, Scotty" He responded calmly, kissing me on the forehead. "Where have you been?" He asked, snuggling more into my chest.
"I was catching up with a friend over coffee" I answered smiling.
"What friend?" He asked once more.
"Avi." I answered. I could feel Mitch stiffen at my answer. He began to move slightly away from me. His calm and collected mood had faded.
"Oh." He said coldly.
"Is that a problem?" I questioned curiously. He opened his mouth to say something, then closed it. He was thinking.
"Yes. Yes it is" He answered sternly.
"Why?"
"Because Scott, I had never heard of Avi until yesterday. You had never mentioned him before that." He angrily spoke. "I don't him here, Scott"
I gave him a confused look. "Why are you so jealous?" I asked. He looked at me as if I had just said something that dishonoured him.
"I'M NOT JEALOUS!" He shouted. He put his hands in his head, showing signs of distress. "It's just, I want your attention. I don't want to share your attention with Avi."
"If it will make you happy, I'll stop seeing him" I suggested. I could see him smile again and he snuggled into me again.
How was I going to tell Avi.
