A/N: Ever since I started this story, I always had this chapter in my mind and I'm happy to be finally writing it.

a week later...

It was a late night and I was  going through photos in my memory box. There were so many photos. Each one held a different memory.

"Hey, Avi?" I heard Scott call for me from downstairs. I walked downstairs to go see what was up.

"Yes." I responded.

"Come with me" He held out his hand to me and I held it. We began to walk towards his car.

"Where we going?" I asked curiously as I sat down in the car. He put the key in the ignition and began driving.

"You'll find out when we get there" He responded with a smug look on his face. I rolled my eyes and smiled. Th drive was a long one. It felt like it took us a year to get to this location. We were at a park, but it seemed to be a private park. The grass seemed so clear and the moonlight emphasised the green of the grass. In the distance, I saw a lake. The full moon's light beaming down onto the rippling water, leading up to a piece of land that was directly in front of it.

"What is this place?" I asked Scott as I surveyed such a beautiful landscape.

"It's a private park. It took a lot of convincing, to be able to take you here, but we're here now" He slid his arm across my shoulder. "Just you and me" Such sweet company.

We began to walk towards the lake. Surrounding it were trees of huge heights and flowers that still had a vibrancy, even in the moonlight. As we approached the edge, I noticed a blanket and a picnic basket on the ground before it. "A moonlight picnic?" I questioned in a surprised tone. I lunged into his arms, causing him and I to collided with the ground. I planted kisses all over his face. "Thank you, thank you, thank you" I repeated with every kiss.

He began smiling like widely. "I'm glad you like it" He spoke as he sat us up. The night was beautiful. It consisted of us eating fruits and resting against each other.

I looked into the sky. The full moon is such a sight to behold. "It's all so stunning" I spoke in awe.

"Not as stunning as you" He replied causing me to blush.

"I've been meaning to ask something, for a long time actually..." I started. He sat up and had a concerned look on his face. "This ring. This ring you gave me 10 years ago. I've been so curious as to why you gave me this specific ring?" I finished. He turned to me and held my hand, caressing it slowly.

"I chose this ring for you because of what the crescent moon represents. Look up into the sky and tell me what you see." He instructed. I let my eyes look up into the sky.

"The stars and the moon" I answered and looked back at him.

"So celestial, aren't they? Not for this world? That's just like you. You're not for this world. You are so rare." All the compliments he was giving me, made my heart beat at an extreme rate. "I chose the crescent moon because it represents your divinity" He planted kiss on my lips. "Your progression." He planted another. "Your wonder." Another kiss, gently placed upon my lips. "Your influence on me." He pursed my lips again, "But most importantly, it represents your beauty. You're such a sight and I'm so lucky to have you." He planted a huge kiss upon my lips and I melted.

I could've cried right there and then but I was just so dumbfounded. I didn't know I possessed these qualities. I didn't know that I was ever seen in such a way. I didn't know that he felt that way about me.

"Since we're asking questions now, I have a question for you." He started. He stood up and gestured for me to get up, and I did. "Would you like to add another ring to your collection?" He asked, causing me to be slightly confused. He put his hand behind his back and pulled something out of his back pocket. "Avriel Kaplan..." He began to descend further down to the ground. "You've changed me. I know it's too early in our relationship, but we've know each other since we were kids and they say young love is strong love. Clearly ours was strong enough for us to cross paths again. You're beauty has been played around with and not fully cherished. Let me be the one to cherish it..." He brought the box forward and opened it. "I want to cherish is for all eternity, if you'll have me." He ended, looking up at me with pure hope in his blue eyes which were glistening in the moonlight.

I began nodding frantically because I could not form any words. He smiled widely and stood up. He placed the ring on my finger and kissed me as passionately as he has ever before. "I am yours" were the only words I could say to him. This man has helped me through many of the tribulations I encountered in my life and the fact I could have him for the rest of my life made me feel like I had won the war. My battle was over. I hugged him tighter and nuzzled my head into his neck.

"You are mine" He responded. He held me closer as we swayed in perfect timing. The man of my dreams, no longer a dream. For he was right there in front of me, holding me, holding me close. In his warm embrace. Holding me as he had just asked to form a life-long promise to never leave his side. We were to begin a life together wherever the opportunities took us. And it wouldn't matter because I was with him and I felt as if we were unstoppable.

I had finally achieved what I had strived for, ever since I met Scott again. Happiness.

"Forever."
