Avi POV

Pain is all I felt in this moment. I couldn't move as much as I wanted to due the searing pain I'd experience in my lower region. It was utterly unbearable and I just wanted the pain to go. So I took myself to the hospital to tell the doctor what was up. He prescribed me something that would soothe the pain. Did it work? Very much so. I felt so at ease.

I got home and Scott was back. He was just sat on the couch. He looked up at me and smiled. "Hey." He stood up and hugged me. "Where did you go?" He asked.

"The hospital. I went to get a prescription" I informed him. He nodded. He unwrapped his hands from around me and I noticed something. He had dried blood on his knuckles. "W-Why is there blood on your knuckles." I asked nervously.

"Remember when we were 15, and I promised you I would never let anyone hurt you?" He asked. I already knew the answer and lunged into his arms.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you" I continuously whispered in his ear as I hugged him for dear life. I was extremely appreciative of what he had done. I was glad he could always do these things for me. "You could've at least washed your hands" I joked causing him to laugh.

I was just so glad things were starting to get better.
