Oikawa Tooru & Sugawara Koushi: Lead Me On

You were always there for Oikawa. Both of you were friends ever since middle school and were inseparable. Well, until recently. Ever since he got girlfriends, there was almost no time for you. He would always run off with her to wherever and just leave you there. And when they would break up, (oh Lord was that hell!) you were the one to comfort and calm him down. One day, Aoba Johsai had a game against Karasuno. You were the one who had to lead them to the gym. Karasuno, certainly, had interesting people. There were the wild ones, the normal ones, the quiet ones, the smarta**, the fatherly captain, and the motherly one. The motherly one caught your attention and you later found out that his name is Sugawara Koushi. After the game was over, you had a chance to talk to Sugawara. Boy, was he sweet! He was so nice and kind to you, and ,after the conversation, you exchanged numbers. You watched him leave and heard his teammates tease him about you. You didn't mind, though, and you certainly couldn't wait to see him again.

"Hey Oikawa!" you called out.

The brunette turned around to face you, "'Sup (y/n)."

"Do you think we could hang out after school today?" you asked.

Oikawa sucked in a breath, "Sorry (y/n), I'm gonna hang with Rin after school today. Next time (y/n)." (A/n Idk I had to choose a name and Rin is what I came up with)

You looked down and sighed, "Next time, it's always next time... Next time there will be no next time..." You thought. (If you get that song reference, then I love you :3)

You then walked away from him, not wanting to look at his face anymore.

~Time skip to after school~

You walked home. Alone. You really missed the days when you and Oikawa would walk home together. Oikawa would always talk about something, tease you maybe, and you would respond back. Sometimes, in those days, you would head to the nearest convenience store and buy a treat or drink. Snapping back to reality, you found tears begin to brim. You looked up to the sky, blinking them away. "What happened to those days? What happened to you, Oikawa?" you thought. Suddenly, your phone vibrated. Pulling out your phone from your pocket, you saw that it was a text from Oikawa.

"(Y/n), could you come over?"

You blinked in surprise. Wasn't he hanging out with Rin? His fifth girlfriend? "Oh well, guess I should head over..." you thought.

~Time skip to Oikawa's house~

Oikawa's mom let you into the house. Immediately, you headed to Oikawa's room.

Opening the door slightly, you called out softly, "Oikawa?"

He was sitting on his bed. You could hear that he was crying. Once he heard your voice, he stopped crying and looked up at you. His face was stained with tears, and, just by the look of his eyes, you could tell that he was mad but, mostly, sad.

Approaching the boy, you sat on the bed and patted his back, "What's wrong?"

"Stupid question (y/n)," you thought to yourself, "you know d**n well what this is about..."

Sniffling, Oikawa answered you, "Rin broke up with me..."

"Bingo..."

Oikawa then continued, "She was complaining that I don't give enough attention to her and that I spend much more time with volleyball and my fangirls. She said, 'If you weren't going to give the attention I deserve, then I'm going to leave.'"

"She wasn't worth it..." you muttered.

Oikawa then got mad once he heard you say that, "WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!" he shouted, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO GIVE YOUR HEART TO SOMEONE AND THEY END UP CRUSHING IT!!"
