~ Flashback ~

You finished singing your confession song to Tsukki, which was "True Love" by P!nk. You looked at him with anticipation and hope in your eyes.

"So? What's your answer?" you asked.

You looked at the boy in front of you, hoping for a form of him saying 'yes'. What seemed like and hour for a response was only a minute, and he laid this down on you.

"I don't feel the same way about you..."

Those words struck your heart as if you were getting stabbed. You thought he liked you back. He let you into his life, he's okay with you being around him, he doesn't find you quite as annoying as the others, he doesn't mind you calling him 'Tsukki', and he actually considers you as someone close to him, yet he doesn't like you?

Shaken, but not at tears just yet, you spoke to him, "Oh, ok. Sorry for wasting your time..."

You spun on your heel and ran home. Finally, the tears decided to come out.

"What went wrong?"  you asked yourself.

You thought of almost all the possibilities, but none of them appealed. Finally, one thought struck your conscience.

You over analyzed his actions.

Sure, he let you into his life, but maybe he just thinks of you as a friend. Nothing more. He let you do all those things with him, but he only did it because he likes you as a friend.

"You idiot (y/n)! Now look what happened. You ruined a friendship and broke your heart. You put too much faith into this..."

You reached your home and quickly unlocked, entered, then locked the door. You ran up the stairs and locked your bedroom door after you entered.

"Love is just a fool's game..."

Wiping away tears, you sat on your bed and pulled out your phone. You went through your pictures to see some funny/dank memes you saved on your phone to cheer you up. You smiled at a funny one and then swiped to see, not a meme, but a selfie of you and Tsukki. Your smile faded and you sighed, holding back tears.

"It's not your fault Tsukki. I thought you loved me in that way, but I guess you do only as a friend. Now I ruined our friendship because of my feelings. Now I broke my heart over something that would have never happened. I'm inferior to you, I wonder why you ever considered me as a friend.."

You turned off your phone, charged it, and set it on your nightstand. After that, You prepared yourself for bed. Once that was done, you climbed into bed and tried not to cry yourself to sleep.

~ End of Flashback ~

You were brought out of your lamentation when someone yelled for you to watch out. You looked up to see a volleyball headed for your face. Putting your hands up, you blocked the ball. You watched as everyone continued to practice, but you didn't look at Tsukki much. It had been two weeks since your confession and you were still a little depressed. You decided that this wasn't healthy for you, since you're usually in an ok mood each morning, and you needed to talk to someone about this.
