A/n Happy Holidays guys! Sorry it's late Xp

You walked down the street, shivering because of the cold. White specks fluttered all around you, snow glistening on the ground. You snuggled into your scarf, protecting your lips from getting chapped. You were passing by a house. Looking into the window from where you were standing, you saw a family. A mother laughed as she watched her toddler walk in circles, shaking sleigh bell decorations. The dad then came around and picked up the toddler, hoisting him high into the air and smiling. You smiled at the sight, but a heavy, unsettling feeling formed in your stomach. You turned away and headed to your destination, the park.

You looked around to find no one there as always. You sighed and walked over to a bench. Wiping off some snow, you sat down. You pulled your legs up to your chest and rested your head between your knees, trying to keep as much heat as possible. You watched as the snow fell all around you. The ground and trees were coated in the white fluff.

"Why do I have to suffer like this?" you thought.

The wind picked up and snow blew in your face. You closed your eyes for a long blink and snuggled into your scarf. The wind then slowed down and you opened your eyes.

"I'm deserving... What have I done that would make me not deserve this?"

The wind picked up once again and you closed your eyes. You shivered. It slowed down once again.

"It's unbearable sometimes though..."

"Hey!" called out a voice. You didn't bother to turn around. There was probably a person behind you passing, and their friend probably ever so happened to be walking down along the same sidewalk. You heard the wind beginning to pick up again, and you closed your eyes. You braced for the cold to hit your face, but it never came. Confused, you opened your eyes. You looked to see a person in front of you. Looking up, you saw a baby blue scarf. The boy had silver hair and warm, light brown eyes. He had a mole next to his left eye.

"I was calling you," he said, "Mind if I sit next to you?"

"Sure..." you said, looking down. The boy wiped off some snow and sat next to you. He place down a brown bag next to you. The smell of meat buns wafted into your nose.

"What're you doing out here? It's freezing," said the boy, concerned. You couldn't help but smile a little, someone was concerned about your wellbeing for once.

"I come here everyday, whether it's cold or hot," you reponded.

"Why?" he asked.

"It's better than staying home alone all the time. At least I can get out and view nature," you told him. The boy paused, analyzing your words.

"You have no one?" he asked. You shook your head. You felt that his mood changed from being happy to worried. You looked back downward until you heard him rummaging through the brown bag.

"Here," he said, handing a meat bun to you, "You must be cold, at least have a meat bun to warm up." You took the meat bun from his hands.

"Thank you," you muttered, biting into the food.

"I guess we didn't formally introduce ourselves now did we?" he said, chuckling a little, "My name's Suguwara Koushi, I'm a third year in high school."

"(Y/n) (l/n)," you said, continuing to eat the bun. "What high school do you go to?" you asked him.

"Karasuno," he replied.

"I thought so," you responded, "I go there too."

"Really? How come I never see you around?" You let out a laugh, making Sugawara worry a little more.
