~ Chapter 17 Friends ~

Jake's (POV)

I pulled her to our first class... Art... She was going to love it... Maybe... I hope she would. Room 9. I was afraid what was going to happen. There were boys that hit on the new girls just because they were cute and new. I wanted them to know she was mine... Because well she's my mate... I didn't want them think I was hitting on her just because she is new, but I knew her my whole life because I am the prince of vampires.

I opened the door for her letting her go first. I gripped her hand not wanting to let her go. She smiled at me. I smiled back... Man, she's going to be the death of me... Oh my God, I forgot I can't die once again.

"Welcome back Jake." I heard Haley say as I walked in. Zoe looked at her meanly causing her to jump out of her seat trying to get away from Zoe. Man, I loved this girl.

I didn't answer Haley I only kissed Zoe on her cheek and then told her to tell Miss. D'Arcy who she was. Zoe only nodded her head.

"Hi, Miss D'Arcy my name is Zoe Hunt and I'm new here." She said proudly, her voice sounding like an angels voice, everyone hushed to hear her voice.

"Well Miss Hunt, you don't act like you're new here." She said giving me a quick glance. "So you'll fit in fast. Even with Jake." She said and saw the mark on Zoe's neck and looked at me like 'when did you do this?' "You may go and sit down." Okay Miss D'Arcy is a werewolf, Haley's mother and she knows what I am and shocked by the bit on Zoe. Zoe knows about it. A vampire has to activate the bonding by tracing it. Well it was traced already. We were bonded, so that made us mates.

'Man, I'm lucky.' I thought and smiled as she walked back over to where she left me.

"That wasn't hard." She said as she sat down putting her head on my shoulder. I relaxed letting her. From the corner of my eye I saw Haley almost hurting herself from not attacking. She's a werewolf. She's slept with every guy, but me. I knew I had to wait for my mate. Well I have... And she has already started having the memories from our past. I loved my midevil princess, but I think this one is better.

"Okay everyone get out a book and read or act like you're reading. I have to grade some things." She said looking around the class. Well, what about art? We do art, but its mostly her telling us to read, but most of us just play on our phones. But I have Zoe to protect... For she is my winning prize... My princess...

"Jake" I heard one of my friends whisper

I growled softly "What?"

"Who's the girl?" He said looking at the sleeping Zoe on my chest. She really did look cute this way.

"She's my girl." I said as I looked at her. I heard a photo being taken of us. I didn't like the idea of being in a photo, but I didn't know about Zoe. I looked up at the photo taker and it was Blake one of my vampire friends. I smiled at him.

My friend chuckled "You guys are like a perfect couple." Blake said as he showed me the photo. I smiled at it.

"Blake you know what she is to me." I said he gasped

"No, it can't be her... Its your midevil princess." Blake said and almost laughed. "I didn't know if it was really her, but it is." He said silently laughing

"She changed our past." I said slowly in a low tone

"No, does she have the mark?" He asked afraid if it was true

"Ya, she does, but she's not one of us." I said

"But the bond, has it been activated?" Blake asked

"A long time ago you could say, before they staked me in the heart." I said clinching at the memory

"But she only had this how long?" Blake asked

"She didn't have it yesterday, but she had the memory last night or earlier today. She still had a hand mark on her cheek today." I said as she stirred in her sleep, maybe about to wake up. I think she was listening to my heartbeat then fell asleep.

"I think you stole an angel from heaven Jake." Jane another vampire friend said "And all this time I thought you liked me." She said adding a sad face. Blake cracked up.

"Nope, I haven't done any stealing, except maybe her heart." I said as I looked at her she opened one eye and smiled.

"I think I stole your heart." She said right before she kissed me.

"I stole yours too." I said joking around our foreheads touching slightly. I laughed my friends just stood there awkwardly.

"Zoe this is Blake." I said

"Hi, Blake." She said and gave him a drop dead smile

"This is Jane." I said

"Hi Jane." She said as she got out of my lap to give her a hug. As soon as Zoe touched her skin, her smile went away.

"Jake there's more?" She said and backed up back on my chest.

"I know. They're my friends. There's more than us vamps here." I said and chuckled. "There's werewolves and some other things here. For example our teacher and her daughter Haley, they are werewolves." I said Zoe nodded her head.

"You should have warned me." She said as I got up to give Jane and Blake a real hug.

"I wish I did." I said silently

Hay guys do you want to know something funny?

The last couple of chapters I've been up till like 11 pm if not 12 am writing this. I actually got yelled at by my dad to go to sleep :P my dads funny
