Zoe's (POV)

Everyone has once been lost. Some never notice it. They never find the clue that they have gotten, so they never think they have gotten a clue in their whole world. I knew I did.

I was a lost puppy. I was shivering and cold in the rain. It felt like home to me because that's all I ever knew. It was my home. But the main question is how? I don't know.

How should I know someone was going to pick me up? Warm me up, and dry off my fur and tell me that they loved me? I had to think what was home... The cold box? Or the warm arms? It felt like the warm arms were my place.

I snuggled closer to Jake with my huge belly. Yes it was huge. For I was 6 and a half months along, but it was more likely 7 and a half with the whole vampire baby birth thing and then the triplet theory. So they were expected any day and I was on bed rest. Ya I couldn't even get up with out help. It sounded fun but it was a living hell. But to Jake it was funny. Because he got to help me every single day and every single hour. But he loved it. He liked the idea of him helping his girl.

My mom on the other hand soon forgot about me being pregnant.

"Zoe, we're having dinner at my place." She said over the phone. "Bring Alex." She said as she said the wrong name. I rolled my eyes.

"First mom, I'm on bed rest. Second its Jake, not Alex." I said over the phone

"Bed rest. Nice joke. Don't forget to bring Alex. I tough you not to lie and now you do." She said

She didn't believe me.

"Mom I can't come. I have to go." I said and hung up. I rolled my eyes. Then I got a text. It was from my mother. I didn't open it. For she would know I read it. I left it alone.

"Zoe when are the babies due?" Rowena asked me I laughed. She really wanted to meet them really bad. I wanted to hold them really badly but I had to wait.

"Any day now." I said as I put a hand on my stomach. I felt a kick. They were three of the strongest children that I knew could even know exist, except for the part that they had vampire blood. Ya vampire blood. The vampire gene is more dominant then the human gene,unless you had a certain ruin. But that one somehow was erased from the book.

Rowena looked at me with her head crooked and flashed a smile. One that she got from her father. Good thing her father wasn't evil. It would have broke her little heart.

"How do you not know the date?" Rowena asked "You should know at least the due date." She asked confused

"It's a surprise. That's why." I silently said Rowena nodded her head. She understood what I meant. "You know you were a surprise?" I silently said. Her eyes widened at my words. She never knew that. I smiled.

"How was I a surprise? How?" She asked and yawned. She was sleepy. I didn't care if she fell asleep in my arms. She was just to cute with that wild red hair of hers'.

"You were born." I said her eyes widened about an inch then went back. It was cute and funny. "You'll understand it more when you're older." I whispered

That's when I saw she fell asleep. I looked at the clock it said it was almost 8pm. I smiled at the sleeping Rowena. She was just so cute. I just couldn't ruin this moment. She felt safe here you could see that. I smiled.

"She'll be a heartbreaker one day." I whispered silently. It didn't waking her up. I smiled at that. She was a deep sleeper, just like her father.

She wasn't the only one who fell asleep. I fell asleep shortly after that. Jake sneaked in and smiled at us and put a blanket over us and turned out the light.

"I love you." He said as he kissed my forehead and then kissed Rowena like if she was his daughter. I liked the idea of her being our daughter. "Be careful what you wish for, Rowena. Some things aren't what you truly want in the end." He said as he pulled the blanket further over both of us. Then he walked to a different room to go to sleep in. Then I fell asleep.
